Nikol Todorova (born 20 April 2008) is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. [1] She is the 2023 junior world champion in teams and the silver medalist with ribbon. At national level she is the 2021 Junior all-around champion and the 2022 and 2023 Junior all-around silver medalist.

Career

In 2021 Nikol was included into the Bulgarian national team in anticipation of the junior European and World Championships in 2022/2023. [2] She then went on to became the national runner-up behind Elvira Krasnobaeva and ahead Zhana Pencheva. [3]

Todorova started the 2023 season at the Miss Valentine Tournament in Tartu, along Elvira Krasnobaeva, Dara Stoyanova and Dara Malinova she won silver in the FIG junior even behind Ukraine and above Kazakhstan. She also qualified for finals, [4] taking 4th place with clubs and winning bronze with ribbon. [5] In July she competed at the Junior World Championships in Cluj-Napoca, where she won gold in teams alongside Krasnobaeva and the junior national group as well as a silver medal with ribbon. [6]

She won gold in the senior team competition at the 2022 European Championships.

Kamelia Petrova is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She is world champion in All-around with the Bulgarian team at the world championship 2022 in Sofia and world champion in final with 3 ribbons+2balls. She is the European all-around champion and team champion with the Bulgarian team in 2023, as well as a silver medalist in the 5-hoop final. She was All-Around, 5 balls and 5 ribbons' silver medalist at the 2021 European Championship and she's the champion in the senior team competition at the 2022 European Championships.

Margarita Vasilieva is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She is world champion with the Bulgarian team in All-around at the world championship 2022 in Sofia and world champion in final with 3 ribbons+2balls. She won gold in the senior team competition at the 2022 European Championships.

Zhenina Trashileva is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She is world champion in All-Around with the Bulgarian team and world champion in the final with 3 ribbons+2 balls in 2022 World Championships. She is European Champion with Team Bulgaria at the 2023 European Championships and Team Champion as well as Silver Medalist in the Five Hoops Final. Zhenina is also a team champion with the Bulgarian team at the European Championship in 2022 in Tel Aviv.

Elvira Krasnobaeva is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 junior European hoop champion and 2023 junior World ball champion. At national level she is the 2022 and 2023 Junior national champion, as well as the 2021 Junior all-around silver medalist.

Krassimira Filipova is a former Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She was a leading athlete in the second half of the 1960s and early 1970s.
