Martin Stokken was a Norwegian cross-country skier who competed at the 1948 and 1952 Summer and 1952 and 1956 Winter Olympics. At the Summer Olympics he ran 5000 m and 10,000 m, finishing fourth in the latter event in 1948. At the Winter Games he won a silver medal in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1952, placing fourth in 1956. His best individual result was six place in the 18 km in 1952 and in 15 km in 1956. At the world skiing championships Stokken won a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay event in 1950 and placed fourth over 50 km in 1954. In 1954 he also won the 50 km race at the Holmenkollen ski festival and won the Holmenkollen medal. Earlier in 1949 he was awarded the Egebergs Ærespris.
Bengt Eriksson was a Swedish nordic combined skier. He won an individual silver medal at the 1956 Winter Olympics and finished 10th at the 1960 Games. Between 1953 and 1966 he won eight national titles. He also competed nationally in association football and internationally in ski jumping, finishing 19th in the normal hill at the 1960 Olympics. In 1965 he was awarded the Holmenkollen medal, shared with Arto Tiainen and Arne Larsen.
Antti Abram Hyvärinen was a Finnish ski jumper and coach. He competed at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics in the normal hill event and finished in seventh and first place, respectively, becoming the first non-Norwegian ski jumper to win an Olympic gold medal. In 1956 he also served as the flag bearer for Finland at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics and won the jumping event at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival. While preparing for the 1958 World Championships, Hyvärinen fell and broke his hip, which resulted in an early retirement in November 1957. From 1960 to 1964 he worked as the head coach of the Finnish ski jumping team.
Nikolay Petrovich Anikin was a Soviet cross-country skier who competed during the late 1950s and early 1960s, training at Dynamo in Moscow. He was born in Ishim, Tyumen Oblast, Russia, USSR.
Lennart "Lill-Järven" Larsson is a retired Swedish cross-country skier and coach. He competed in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1956 and 1960 Olympics and won a bronze medal in 1956, finishing fourth in 1960; in 1960 he also placed fourth and fifth in the individual 30 and 50 km events. Larsson won the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1958 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti.
Bolivia sent a delegation to compete in the Winter Olympic Games for the first time at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy from 26 January to 5 February 1956. The only competitor in the delegation was alpine skier René Farwig. In the men's giant slalom he came in 75th place, and he was disqualified from the men's slalom. It would be 24 years before Bolivia returned to the Winter Olympics, at the 1980 Winter Olympics.
Fiji sent a delegation to compete at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway from 12–27 February 1994. This was Fiji's second time appearing at a Winter Olympic Games after their debut in the 1988 Winter Olympics. The country's sole representative was Rusiate Rogoyawa, in cross-country skiing. In the 10 kilometer classical he finished in 88th place.
Theodore Austin Farwell, Jr. was an American nordic skier who competed in the 1950s. At the 1952 Winter Olympics, he finished 11th in the nordic combined event and 43rd in the 18 km cross country skiing event. Farwell also competed at the 1956 and 1960 Winter Olympics.
Vlastimil Melich was a Czechoslovakian Nordic skier who competed in the 1950s. At the 1952 Winter Olympics, he finished 16th in the Nordic combined event, 29th in the 18 km cross country skiing event, and eighth in the 4 × 10 km cross country skiing relay.
Ethiopia sent a delegation to compete at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from 12–28 February 2010. Ethiopia was making its second appearance in a Winter Olympics, and like four years prior, the only athlete sent to compete was cross-country skier Robel Teklemariam. Teklemariam finished 93rd in the 15 kilometre freestyle event.
Leonid Fyodorov was a Soviet ski jumper. He competed at the 1956 Winter Olympics and the 1960 Winter Olympics.
