Nilakandaeshwarar Temple was constructed by Karikala Chola in 433 AD near Noyyal river in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.[ citation needed ] The temple's main god was Shiva, [1] along with Nanthi and Parvati.[ citation needed ]
