The Nilu27 is an upcoming sports car to be announced by former Koenigsegg, Lamborghini and Bugatti designer Sasha Selipanov. [1]
The car's name combines the names of the founders’ daughters, Nica and Lucia, and the number 27 honors a racing number worn by F1 drivers such as Gilles Villeneuve and Jean Alesi in the 1980s and 1990s. [2]
The sports car will feature a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine created by Hartley Engines, a New Zealand-based company founded by a current WEC driver and former Formula 1 driver Brendon Hartley's younger brother Nelson Hartley. The engine is said to have a redline of up to 11,000 rpm with 1070HP and 634 lb-ft of torque at 7000rpm.

It has a claimed top speed above 250mph and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in less than 3 seconds. If the figures were true, this would be the fastest naturally-aspirated production vehicle without hybrid technology after McLaren F1.

A supercar, also known as an exotic car, is a type of automobile generally described at its most basic as a street-legal sports car with race track-like power, speed, and handling, plus a certain subjective cachet linked to pedigree, exclusivity, or both. The term 'supercar' is frequently used for the extreme fringe of powerful, low-bodied mid-engineed luxury sportscars. A low car has both a low, handling-favorable center of gravity, and less frontal area than a front engined car, reducing its aerodynamic drag and enabling a higher top speed. Since the 2000s, the term hypercar has come into use for the highest performance supercars.
The McLaren F1 is a sports car designed and manufactured by British automobile manufacturer McLaren Cars and powered by the BMW S70/2 V12 engine, of which a limited number was produced. Formula Two is a type of open-wheel formula racing category first codified in 1948. The original Bugatti automobile brand was established by Ettore Bugatti (1881–1947) in 1909 at Molsheim and built sports, racing and luxury cars.
Mauro Forghieri was an Italian mechanical engineer, best known for his work as a Formula One racing car designer with Scuderia Ferrari during the 1960s and 1970s. He is credited with introducing the first designed rear wings to Formula One at the 1968 Belgian Grand Prix. He oversaw numerous technical developments during his tenure at Ferrari, including the creation of the 250 GTO and P-series sports racing cars, the Ferrari flat-12 series of engines, Ferrari's first turbocharged engine in the 126 C F1 car, and a prototype semi-automatic transmission in 1979. During Forghieri's tenure with Ferrari, the company won the F1 World Driver's Championship four times and the F1 World Constructors' Championship seven times. After leaving Ferrari in 1987, he worked at Lamborghini and Bugatti then founded the Oral Engineering Group in 1995.
Marussia Motors was a Russian sports car company founded in 2007. It was the first Russian company to produce a supercar. It designed, and manufactured prototypes of both the B1 and the B2 sport cars. Marussia was led by former motor racer Nikolai Fomenko. The Marussia B1 was launched in December 2008 in the new Manege hall in Moscow.
The Koenigsegg Regera is a limited production, plug-in hybrid grand touring sports car manufactured by Swedish automotive manufacturer Koenigsegg. It was unveiled at the March 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The name Regera is a Swedish verb, meaning "to reign" or "to rule". Koenigsegg produced 85 Regeras, most of which were sold upon unveiling.

The RA is a 6.5-litre, naturally-aspirated V12 engine, commissioned by Adrian Newey, and designed, developed and produced by Cosworth for the Aston Martin Valkyrie sports car. The road-going engine is rated at 1,000 hp at 10,500 rpm, with a max torque figure of 740 N⋅m (546 lbf⋅ft) at 7,000 rpm, making it the most powerful naturally-aspirated engine ever fitted and used in a production road car. The engine also revs to a maximum of 11,100 rpm, and has a power density making 114.8 kW per litre.

The Koenigsegg CC850 is a limited production mid-engine sports car manufactured by Swedish automobile manufacturer Koenigsegg. It was unveiled on 19 August 2022 at Pebble Beach, California, as a homage to the CC8S. Built to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first production CC8S, the CC850 was originally limited to 50 units to celebrate the company's founder Christian von Koenigsegg's 50th birthday, however, due to increased demand it was announced six days later on 25 August 2022 that an additional 20 units would be built.
The Bugatti Tourbillon is an upcoming mid-engine hybrid sports car manufactured by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti. The Tourbillon succeeds the Chiron and is limited to 250 units. It was unveiled in an online live stream on 20 June 2024. It is priced at €3.8 million or US$4.1 million.
The Red Bull RB17 is an upcoming limited production track-only hybrid sports car produced by Red Bull Advanced Technologies, the commercial technology and engineering arm of Formula One team Red Bull Racing. Primarily designed by Red Bull Racing's Chief Technical Officer, designer, and aerodynamicist Adrian Newey, with additional assistance from team engineers, the RB17 is Red Bull's first ever production car.
