Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue is an upcoming thriller television series from Anthony Horowitz. It will air on the BBC in the United Kingdom and MGM+ in the United States.
Following an air disaster, nine strangers are marooned in a Mexican jungle. However, when they start dying one-by-one, the survivors must solve the mystery of who is killing them off.
The project originally was developed by Anthony Horowitz in 2020 with Blumhouse Television for the shortform platform Quibi. [2] The six-part ensemble limited series is written, created and executive produced by Horowitz and produced by Eleventh Hour Films. Alongside Horowitz, the series has Jill Green and Eve Gutierrez as executive producers for Eleventh Hour Films. [3]
The cast led by Eric McCormack as Kevin also includes David Ajala, Lydia Wilson, Peter Gadiot, Siobhán McSweeney, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson and Adam Long. [4]
Filming commenced on the Canary Islands in the spring of 2024. [5]
