Niru, (born Nirmalan Nadarajah [1] on 13 January 1980) is a Tamil music director and composer. From his rendition of Netriunthom Engal Vitulilae with tracks such as "Pattu Selai", Niru has become a musician. He recently debuted in Tamil films as the music composer in the film Kalabha Kadhalan.
Having found a passion for music at an early age, Niru discovered an affinity to all things musical.
In 1989, Niru moved to Paris, France, where he was in the tutelage of the Maison Populaire. There, he ameliorated and tuned his precision and skill for melodies. Niru graduated from SAE (Paris) in 2001, an institute with the links to Oxford, UK. Niru then progressed to study Western classical music at the Trinity College of Music, London.
Starting small, Niru initially began by composing jingles for advertisements, soon to be followed by a "nouvelle vague" which brought Tamil Pop to music in France."Moongil Nila", album-extraordinaire encapsulated the vocals of P. Unnikrishnan, a friend of Niru's, Hariharan, Srinivas, Anuradha Sriram, Karthik and Shankar Mahadevan. Lyricists Vairamuthu, Kapilan, Paa Vijay, Palanibharathi and Arivumathi worked on the album.
Niru then dedicated much of his time composing music for various charitable endeavours. In memory of the Asian tsunami of 2004, Niru composed “Kadala Kadal Amma” with the vocals of Tippu by Aruvumathy. Niru also composed for the National Red Cross. Niru became both an independent Music Director with the release of his debut film; “Kalabha Kadhalan” in 2005.
In 2006, Niru’s work, in Mayavi of GV Films, was nominated for the Seoul Drama Awards (SDA). Here, Niru gained the highly prestigious “Jury's Special Award”. He also composed music for Rameswaram . [2] [3]

Shankar Shanmugam, credited as S. Shankar or his mononymShankar, is an Indian film director, film producer and screenwriter who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. Amar Choudary, known professionally as Jiiva, is an Indian actor and film producer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and a few Hindi and Malayalam films. He is the youngest son of film producer R. B. Kalaabak Kadhalan is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language erotic thriller film directed by debutant Igore, starring Arya, Renuka Menon, and Akshaya. This film was a low-budget production, and the soundtrack was composed by Niru. It enjoyed relatively quiet success. It shared a similar storyline to S. J. Suryah’s Vaali and another 2006 film called Uyir. The film was released on 17 February 2006.
Rameswaram is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by S. Selvam and produced by S. N. Raja. Jiiva and Bhavana play lead roles while Lal, Bose Venkat and Manivannan play supporting roles. The shooting of the film finished in September 2007, with shooting locations were canned in India and in Sri Lanka, for the picturization of a portion. The film released worldwide on 30 November 2007 and met with mixed reviews and did not do very well commercially.

Roja is the debut soundtrack album of music composer A. R. Rahman, featuring lyrics by Vairamuthu. It is the soundtrack to the 1992 Tamil film of the same name, directed by Mani Ratnam, and starring Aravind Swamy and Madhoo. After working with several composers as assistant and conductor, Vidyasagar made his debut as a film composer in the 1989 Tamil film Poo Manam and nicknamed as Melody King Working for over 225 feature films, he is the recipient of one National Award, multiple State Awards and five Filmfare Awards he frequently work with actor vijay which all of the albums were successful and is widely regarded as one of the finest and most acclaimed composers in the history of Indian Cinema.
