Vaaranam Aayiram is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and produced by V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films. Kana Kaanum Kaalangal is a Tamil drama soap opera that aired in Star Vijay, Monday to Thursday, from 30 October 2006 to 28 April 2009. It was the first soap in Tamil television that focused on school life. Due to the success of the show, a sequel called Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kallooriyin Kadhai was made. Later another sequel to the serial called Kana Kaanum Kalangal Kalloori Saalai was also made. Both the sequels focused on college life. It was re-aired on Star Vijay Super from 16 January 2017, Monday through Friday at 8:00PM.
Mahabharatham is an Indian Tamil-language mythological television series that aired every Sunday on Sun TV from 17 February 2013 to 29 May 2016 at 10:00 AM IST. The 166-episode show is based on Mahabharat, told by sage and seer Veda Vyasa Maharshi and supposed to be written by Lord Vinayaka Bhagavan on sage Vyasa's instruction for the bounty of human race thousands of years ago.

Thalayanai Pookal is a 2016 Tamil family soap opera that airs on Zee Tamil. The show aired from 23 May 2016 to 29 June 2018 on Monday to Friday at 9:00 (IST). Later from 16 October 2017, the show shifted from Monday to Friday at 10:00 (IST). On 23 April 2018, the show shifted again to air Monday through Friday at 22:30 (IST) for 549 Episodes. The story is partially based on Balakumaran's novel Thalayanai Pookal. The show starred Anjali Rao, Nisha Krishnan, Sandra Amy, Delhi Ganesh Shrekar, Shreekumar, Neelima Rani and among others.
