The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) is the aviation branch of the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces.
King Abdulaziz Air Base, also known as Dhahran Air Base and formerly Dhahran International Airport, Dhahran Airport and Dhahran Airfield, is a Royal Saudi Air Force base located in Dhahran in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Located west of Thuqbah and 7 km (4 mi) southeast of the Saudi Aramco Dhahran Camp, the airbase was the first Saudi Arabian airport to be constructed, in 1961, and is under the command of Air vice-marshal Prince Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is a Saudi Arabian politician, businessman, and former military aviator who was briefly Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia from January to April 2015, during the first three months of his half-brother King Salman's reign. He is the 35th son of King Abdulaziz, born to Abdulaziz's Yemeni concubine Baraka. Since the death of Abdulaziz's 36th son Hamoud in 1994, Muqrin has been the youngest surviving son of the king.

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Airport also known as Tabuk Regional Airport is an international and public airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. It was a former military airport until its renovation to become a public airport in 2011. Despite being an international airport, it only serves a few foreign destinations. There are plans to increase the number of international destinations to other neighboring countries. The airport has a single terminal building which uses air bridges for planes to disembark and load passengers. The airport was named after the late minister of Defence and crown prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz.
