Noble Air was a Turkish airline that flew charter and some scheduled flights.
The airline Noble Air was founded in 1989 by a joint British/Turkish company and in the beginning concentrated on charter flights from London to Turkey. The aircraft of choice was the Boeing 727-200, of which about six were operated. In 1990, it was awarded scheduled flights between London and Istanbul and also some scheduled internal routes in Turkey. Increased competition in the tourist market led to financial losses, and operations were suspended at the end of 1991. [1]
The Boeing 727 is a narrow-body airliner produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After the heavy 707 quad-jet was introduced in 1958, Boeing addressed the demand for shorter flight lengths from smaller airports. On December 5, 1960, the 727 was launched with 40 orders each from United Airlines and Eastern Air Lines. The first 727-100 rolled out November 27, 1962, first flew on February 9, 1963, and entered service with Eastern on February 1, 1964.

Wardair Canada was a privately run Canadian airline, founded by Max Ward in 1952 under the name Wardair Ltd, before formally changing its name to "Wardair Canada" in 1976. The airline was acquired by and folded into Canadian Airlines in 1989.
Syrian Airlines, operating as SyrianAir, is the flag carrier airline of Syria. It operates scheduled international services to several destinations in Asia, Europe and North Africa, though the number of flights operated has seriously declined since 2011 due to the Arab Spring and subsequent Syrian war. SyrianAir previously served over 50 destinations worldwide. Its main bases are Damascus International Airport and previously Aleppo International Airport. SyrianAir is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization. The company has its head office on the fifth floor of the Social Insurance Building in Damascus.
Pacific Western Airlines Ltd (PWA) was an airline that operated scheduled flights throughout western Canada and charter services around the world from the 1950s through the 1980s.
Dan-Air was an airline based in the United Kingdom and a wholly owned subsidiary of London shipbroking firm Davies and Newman. It was started in 1953 with a single aircraft. Initially, it operated cargo and passenger charter flights from Southend (1953–1955) and Blackbushe airports (1955–1960) using a variety of piston-engined aircraft before moving to a new base at London Gatwick Airport in 1960, followed by expansion into inclusive tour (IT) charter flights and all-year round scheduled services. The introduction of two de Havilland Comet series 4 jet aircraft in 1966 made Dan-Air the second British independent airline after British United Airways to begin sustained jet operations.
Air Slovakia was an airline based in Bratislava, Slovakia, operating out of M. R. Štefánik Airport. The airline offered scheduled and chartered passenger flights, as well as aircraft lease (ACMI).
Champion Air was an airline based in Bloomington, Minnesota, USA. It operated general charter services to sports teams, vacation wholesalers and government agencies. It also offered limited scheduled service. Its main base was Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, with hubs at Denver International Airport, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, and Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. The airline ceased all operations on May 31, 2008. Until its shutdown, the airline was a prime contractor for the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System.
Cyprus Turkish Airlines Limited was a Turkish Cypriot airline that served as the flag carrier for Northern Cyprus. Until its collapse in June 2010, Cyprus Turkish Airlines was the primary airline flying passengers to Northern Cyprus.
Resolute Bay Airport is located at Resolute, Nunavut, Canada, and is operated by the government of Nunavut. It is one of the northernmost airfields in Canada to receive scheduled passenger airline service.
Kiwi Travel International Airlines was a New Zealand based airline which pioneered discount flights between secondary airports in Australia and New Zealand in the mid-1990s. The airline was established by Ewan Wilson and several associates. Wilson served as CEO and was later convicted on four counts of fraud. It was reported in March 2015 that he was looking at restarting an airline, under the name Kiwi Regional Airlines.
Providenciales International Airport, on the island of Providenciales in the Caicos Islands, is the main international airport serving the Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom. It is operated by Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA). The territory's other international airport is JAGS McCartney International Airport on Grand Turk Island. Currently, there are more than 12,000 commercial aircraft operations per year.
Albatros Airlines was a charter airline from Turkey that operated from 1992 to 1996.
Sultan Air was a charter airline from Turkey that operated from July 1989 until November 1993.
TUR European Airways was a charter airline from Turkey that operated from 1988 until 1994.
Regentair was an airline with its headquarters in Westchester, Los Angeles, California. The airline, founded in October 1982 as Firstair, operated scheduled flights as Regent Air between Newark Airport (EWR) in the New York City area and Los Angeles (LAX) with Boeing 727-100 jetliners with their schedules appearing in the Feb. 15, 1985 Official Airline Guide (OAG) with one round trip flight a day except on Saturdays being operated between Newark and L.A. at this time. According to a Regent Air service brochure, its 727 aircraft were configured to carry just 30 passengers in an all first class cabin with the statement that "Regent Air is an experience in luxury that has no parallel in travel". The airline's aircraft were also available for charter. The airline offered complimentary limousine as well as connecting helicopter service for their flights, but fares were 50% higher than their competition's prices.
Air Vias was the first Brazilian airline dedicated exclusively for charter flights. It operated between 1993 and 1995.
AirAlfa was a charter airline based in Atatürk International Airport, Istanbul, Turkey. It also had an additional base at Antalya Airport. It also operated charter services to tour operators. Air Alfa ceased operations in December 2001 and had its licence revoked on 17 November 2002.
Air Commerce was a Yugoslav airline based at Sarajevo International Airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was officially known as "AIR COMMERCE društvo za avio saobraćaj i usluge d.o.o. Sarajevo" and had its headquarters in Radićeva Street 4c, Sarajevo.
