Holiday Airlines was a Turkish charter company that operated between 1994 and 1996.
Holiday Airlines in Turkey began operations in the summer of 1994 using Airbus A320 aircraft serving mostly the German tourist market. Holiday Airlines also leased some Airbus A300s for short periods of time. By the end of 1994, Holiday Airlines had to temporarily cease operations when two of the A320s were repossessed, but their services were recommenced in 1995 using two Airbus A300B4.
Holiday Airlines was in such need of aircraft to meet the demand that they used the Boeing 727-200, the Tupolev Tu-154 and the Yakovlev Yak-42. The Birgenair crash off the Dominican Republic affected Holiday Airlines along with most Turkish charter airlines negatively and by September 1996, Holiday Airlines was refused rights to fly to Germany. By November 1996, it ceased all operations. [1]
Ariana Afghan Airlines Co. Ltd., also known simply as Ariana, is the flag carrier and largest airline of Afghanistan. Founded in 1955, Ariana is the oldest airline in the country and is state owned. The company has its main base at Kabul International Airport, from which it operates domestic flights and international connections to destinations in China, India, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. The carrier is headquartered in Shāre Naw district, Kabul. Ariana Afghan Airlines has been on the list of air carriers banned in the European Union since October 2006.
The Tupolev Tu-154 is a three-engined, medium-range, narrow-body airliner designed in the mid-1960s and manufactured by Tupolev. A workhorse of Soviet and (subsequently) Russian airlines for several decades, it carried half of all passengers flown by Aeroflot and its subsidiaries, remaining the standard domestic-route airliner of Russia and former Soviet states until the mid-2000s. It was exported to 17 non-Russian airlines and used as a head-of-state transport by the air forces of several countries.
Air Moldova was the flag carrier airline for The Republic of Moldova, headquartered in the country's capital Chișinău. It mainly operated scheduled and charter services to destinations within Europe from its base at Chișinău International Airport. Air Moldova suspended all operations on 3 May 2023.
Syrian Airlines, operating as SyrianAir, is the flag carrier of Syria. It operates scheduled international services to several destinations in Asia, Europe and North Africa, though the number of flights operated has seriously declined since 2011 due to the Arab Spring and subsequent Syrian war. SyrianAir previously served over 50 destinations worldwide. Its main bases are Damascus International Airport and previously Aleppo International Airport. The company has its head office on the fifth floor of the Social Insurance Building in Damascus.
JSC Uzbekistan Airways, operating as Uzbekistan Airways, is the flag carrier of Uzbekistan, headquartered in Tashkent. From its hub at Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, the airline serves a number of domestic destinations; the company also flies international services to Asia, Europe and North America.
Ukrainian-Mediterranean Airlines, Ukrayinsʹko-seredzemnomorsʹki avialiniyi, was an airline based in Kyiv, Ukraine. it ceased operations at 2018.
JSC National Air Carrier "Kyrgyzstan Airlines" was the national airline of Kyrgyzstan, with its head office on the grounds of Manas International Airport in Bishkek. It operated scheduled international and domestic services, as well as charter flights. Its main base was Manas International Airport, with a hub at Osh Airport.
Kyrgyzstan Air Company, operating as Air Kyrgyzstan, was the flag carrier of Kyrgyzstan, based in Bishkek. It operated scheduled domestic and international services to 13 destinations, as well as charter services. Its main hub was Manas International Airport in Bishkek, with a hub at Osh Airport in Osh.
Khors Air was an airline based in Kyiv, Ukraine. It operated mainly charter flights within Ukraine, and also offered flights to Europe and the Middle East from Kyiv International Airport.
Tajik Air (legally State Unitary Aviation Enterprise is an airline in Tajikistan. It has its head office at Dushanbe International Airport in Dushanbe. The airline's main hub is Dushanbe International Airport.
Aurela was a charter airline based in Vilnius, Lithuania. It operated charter services for several tour operators in the Baltic states. Its main base was Vilnius International Airport.
OAO Kuban Airlines was an airline based in Krasnodar, Russia. It operated domestic flights within Russia, as well as international charters. Its main base was Krasnodar International Airport. Its name comes from Kuban Province in southern Russia. On 11 December 2012 Kuban Airlines ceased operations due to financial difficulties.
CJSC, Aviaprad was an airline based in Yekaterinburg, Russia. It operated domestic and international cargo charters from Yekaterinburg to destinations within the CIS, Western Europe, China and the United Arab Emirates. Its main base was Koltsovo International Airport, Yekaterinburg.
Spichenkovo Airport, also known as Novokuznetsk Airport, is one of two major airports in Kemerovo Oblast area, Russia, Southwestern Siberia located 17 km west of Novokuznetsk. It is named after the nearby town of Spichenkovo. The area has skiing resorts, and the airport is the place where Russian holiday makers pass through arriving to Mezhdurechensk, Kemerovo Oblast.

Sun Air is a private airline based in Khartoum, Sudan. As of October 2021, according to its website, Sun Air operates scheduled domestic flights between Khartoum and several domestic destinations. It also operates scheduled international flights between Khartoum and other cities in Africa and the Middle East.
Air Kazakhstan, stylised as Air Kazakstan, was a Kazakh airline and its national carrier. After its bankruptcy, the airline was shut down. It was headquartered in Almaty.
AirAlfa was a charter airline based in Atatürk International Airport, Istanbul, Turkey. It also had an additional base at Antalya Airport. It also operated charter services to tour operators. Air Alfa ceased operations in December 2001 and had its licence revoked on 17 November 2002.
Shaheen Air International was a private Pakistani airline with its head office at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi and was founded by the Shah family. It remained Pakistan's second-largest airline until its liquidation in 2018 due to financial troubles. The airline owed Rs. 1.36 billion to Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) and its employees salaries.
