Composition

"Nobody Else but You" was written by Songz and produced by Isaak. In the song, he speaks directly to a woman, attempting to refute the rumors that label him as an untrustworthy and irredeemable womanizer. He assures her that she is the only one he truly loves. ^[2]

Critical reception

Revolt's Maurita Salkey complimented its lyrics, saying that "the singer rarely sounded this romantic". ^{[3] [ verify ]} John Kennedy of Vibe said that in the song "[h]e redeems himself [...] staring in the mirror wondering why he takes his relationship for granted". ^[4] Maeve Mcdermott of USA Today said that the song was a right choice as the lead single of Tremaine, defining it as a "bubbly lead single". ^[2]
