The Day After is the fifth studio album by American rapper Twista. It was released on October 4, 2005 via Atlantic Records. The follow-up to his 2004 breakthrough album Kamikaze, the album marked Twista's first project without contribution from longtime collaborator The Legendary Traxster. Instead, he worked with a variety of new collaborators on the album, including Bigg D, Mr. Collipark, Cuxo, Bryan-Michael Cox, Rodney Jerkins, Jim Jonsin, R. Kelly, The Neptunes, Scott Storch, and Toxic.
"Overnight Celebrity" is the second single from Twista's 2004 album Kamikaze. The song was produced and features uncredited vocals by Kanye West and uncredited violin by Miri Ben-Ari. It contains a sample of the 1978 song "Cause I Love You" By Lenny Williams. The song reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 11, 2004. The song received a nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards.
"Gimme That" is a song by American singer Chris Brown featuring American rapper Lil Wayne. It was written by Sean Garrett and Scott Storch for Brown's eponymous debut album (2005), while production was helmed by Storch, with Garrett credited as a co-producer. A remix of the song, featuring additional vocals from American rapper Lil Wayne, was released as the album's third single in April 2006 and peaked at number 15 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
"I'm 'n Luv (wit a Stripper)" (censored as "I'm 'n Luv (wit a Dancer)") is a single written and performed by American singer T-Pain featuring American rapper Mike Jones. Produced by the former, it was released in late 2005 and peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it T-Pain's second top ten single, and Mike Jones's first. The track is T-Pain's third most successful single on the chart, tying with "Bartender". "I'm 'n Luv (wit a Stripper)" is also Mike Jones's highest charting single. The official remix of the song features Twista, Pimp C, R. Kelly, Too Short, Paul Wall and MJG, and was accompanied with its own music video.

It was released on December 3, 2005, via Disturbing tha Peace/Def Jam Recordings as a single from her second studio album Block Music. The original version of "Gettin' Some" appears on Block Music as a hidden track. The song samples Too Short's "Blowjob Betty".
Adrenaline Rush is the third studio album by Chicago rapper Twista, released on June 24, 1997. It was his second album nationally released, after his previous effort Resurrection was shelved outside of Chicago. The album had guest artists: Johnny P, Liffy Stokes, Miss Kane, Malif, Mayz and Turtle Banks. The first single off the album was "Emotions", a song which reworked the chorus of the Do or Die hit "Po Pimp". The single "Get It Wet" charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 96. With very little airplay or radio play outside the midwest, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on July 15, 2019.
