Noel Michael Kampton (born April 2, 2000) is a Filipino beach and indoor volleyball player. He is currently playing for the De La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP. [1]

Career

Collegiate

Kampton was supposedly play for the De La Salle Green Archers in UAAP Season 83 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was canceled. [2]

In UAAP Season 84, he made his first game appearance with the De La Salle Green Archers beach volleyball where he and his teammate Vince Maglinao won the bronze medal. [3]

In UAAP Season 85, he made his first game appearance in the UAAP collegiate indoor volleyball with the De La Salle Green Archers. His team placed in 4th after losing to FEU in the first round of stepladder semifinals. [4]

UAAP Season 78 was the 2015–2016 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). It opened on September 5, 2015, almost two months after the usual July opening of the league during previous seasons, due to the shift in the academic calendars of four member universities, i.e. Ateneo, La Salle, UP and UST. It was hosted by the University of the Philippines.

UAAP Season 79 is the 2016–2017 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season, hosted by the University of Santo Tomas officially opened on September 3, 2016. The opening ceremony was held at the UST Plaza Mayor at 3:00 pm with the formal introduction of ballroom dancing as a demonstration sport in this season by the host school University of Santo Tomas (UST) at España, Manila. The official ceremony started at 5:00 pm as there was a concert party themed "Dare to Dream" where the official theme song for the season was revealed. The De La Salle Green Archers are the collegiate men's basketball team of De La Salle University, which play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere sports league in the country.

The UAAP Season 78 high school volleyball tournament started on August 22, 2015. The tournament venue is the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila. Adamson is the tournament host. The number of participating schools in the boys' and girls' tournaments both increased to seven. Far Eastern University fielded boys' and girls' volleyball teams beginning season 77. Since there are now seven participating schools, the tournaments have a Final Four format. The UAAP Board decided to move the high school volleyball tournaments from 2nd semester to 1st semester due to the basketball juniors tournament being moved from the 1st semester to 2nd semester.
