Noemi Batki (born 12 October 1987) is a Hungarian-born Italian former diver. [1] She was a member of the Italian National Diving Team at four Olympic Games and was a member of the sports section of the Italian Army, Centro Sportivo Esercito, and Triestina Nuoto. [2]
Batki was born in Budapest, Hungary. Her mother Ibolya Nagy was a Hungarian platform diver who took part in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. At the age of 3 Batki moved to Belluno, Italy. In 2004, Batki won her first medals at the Junior European Championships in Aachen, Germany. She won silver medal in the synchronised 3 metre springboard competition with teammate Francesca Dallapè, and bronze medal in the platform event. [3]
In Spring 2005, Batki moved to Trieste. In July 2005, she took part in the FINA World Championships in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where she placed fifth in the synchronised 3 metre springboard competition. In the same year in Electrostal, Russia, she won a silver medal in the 3 metre springboard competition. [3] In 2006, she placed 6th in the synchronised 3 metre springboard at the European Championships in Budapest. Later that year she won a silver medal at the Arena Diving Champions Cup in Stockholm. [3]
In 2007, she won a bronze medal at the Arena Diving Champions Cup in the synchronised 3 metre springboard, and won the gold medal in the same event at the Italian Indoor Championships. She also took part in the FINA World Championships in Melbourne, Australia. [3]
In August 2007 Batki won the gold medal in the 1 metre springboard competition at the XXIV Universiade in Bangkok, Thailand, sharing the same score as Ukrainian diver Maria Voloschenko. [4]
In February 2008, Batki qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics [5] by placing 5th in the synchronised 3 metre springboard competition with Francesca Dallapè, at the FINA World Cup in Beijing. [1] At the Olympics, Batki and Dallapé placed 6th.
In August 2010, she won the silver medal in the 10 metres platform at the European Championships in Budapest, Hungary with a score of 343.80, just 11 points behind the gold medallist Christin Steuer, from Germany. [6]
In March 2011, Batki won her first gold medal in a European Championship, at the 2nd Arena European Diving Championships in Turin, with a new personal record. [7] With this result, she qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where she placed 8th in the 10 m platform final. [8] She also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio where she placed 26th in the 10 metre platform event. [9]
Batki considered retiring after the 2016 Olympics, but her performance had been hampered by a thumb injury and she decided to continue diving, with a new coach Domenico Rinaldi. [10] Her competitive diving career continued until the 2020 Summer Olympics. From 2017 to 2021 Batki continued to compete and win medals. She won gold medals at FINA Grand Prix events in Italy in July 2017, July 2018 and June 2019. In August 2021, and at the age of 33, Batki placed 27th in the 10 metre platform event at the Tokyo Olympics. [2]
Fu Mingxia is a retired Chinese diver, multiple Olympic gold medalist and world champion. She won the platform-diving world championship in 1991 at the age of 12, making her the youngest diving champ of all time. She is also famous for being one of the youngest Olympic diving champions, having earned a gold at the 1992 Barcelona Games when she was just 13 years and 345 days old. Throughout the 1990s, Fu dominated the sport with her repertoire of extremely difficult dives. During the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Fu won her fourth gold medal, joining Americans Pat McCormick and Greg Louganis as the world's only quadruple Olympic-diving champions.
Tania Cagnotto is an Italian diver. She is the first female Italian diver to win a medal in a World Championship. A five-time Olympian, she won medals in both individual and synchronized springboard diving in her final appearance at the Olympics in 2016. She is also a 20-time champion at the European level.
Francesca Dallapè is an Italian diver. With Tania Cagnotto, she won silver in the 3 m synchronized springboard at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Jack David Laugher is a British diver competing for Great Britain and England. A specialist on springboard, he competes in individual springboard events, and in synchronised events with Chris Mears, Daniel Goodfellow and Anthony Harding. Laugher and Mears became Britain's first diving Olympic champions by winning a gold medal in the men's synchronised 3m springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, an achievement many had expected double world 10m champion Tom Daley would achieve first. A week later, Laugher won a silver in the men's individual 3m springboard at the same Games, becoming the first British diver to win multiple Olympic diving medals at the same Games.
Cao Yuan is a Chinese diver and an Olympic gold medalist, having won three golds, one silver and one bronze in the Olympics. He has also won golds in diving at the World Championships and World Cups.

Christopher James Mears is a British diver and DJ/Producer from Burghfield Common, near Reading, Berkshire. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the synchronised 3m springboard event with Jack Laugher and won gold, the first Olympic gold medal for Britain in diving.
The diving competitions at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro took place from 7 to 20 August at Maria Lenk Aquatic Center in Barra da Tijuca. It was one of four aquatic sports at the Games, along with swimming, water polo, and synchronised swimming.
Constantin Popovici is a Romanian platform diver. In 2019, he became the first Romanian to achieve a first-place finish at a stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. He is the 2022 European champion in the 27 metre high dive. He has won multiple medals as part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and he won the bronze medal in the 27 metre high dive event at the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Festival in 2021. For the 10 metre platform event at the 2008 Summer Olympics, he placed twenty-third overall.
Daniel Goodfellow is a British diver, two-time Commonwealth champion and Olympic bronze medalist. He first represented Great Britain as a senior at the 2013 European Diving Championships in the 10 m platform event and the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in the same event. Goodfellow won a bronze medal in the Men's 10m Synchronised Platform event with his diving partner Tom Daley at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He has also won a gold with Daley in the same event at the Commonwealth Games, and a silver at the European Championships. In 2022 he won his first major title as a solo diver, winning gold in the men's 3 metre springboard at the 2022 Commonwealth Games
Nur Dhabitah binti Sabri is a Malaysian diver. She is the youngest Malaysian diver to champion two senior international competitions.
Matthew Lee is a British diver and Olympic gold medallist. Adept in both individual and synchronised diving, and across both 3-metre springboard and platform, Lee won the gold medal in 10-metre platform at the 2015 European Games, the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform at the 2017 European Diving Championships and has twice been European junior champion on the 3-metre springboard. At world level, Lee won the silver medal in the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform event at the 2017 World Championships, and at the 2019 World Championships, Lee and Tom Daley won bronze in the 10 m synchro event, as well as gold in July 2021 at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Grace Elizabeth Reid is a Scottish diver representing Scotland and Great Britain, and specialising in 1 metre and 3 metre springboard disciplines. She is a world championship silver medalist in the 1 metre springboard, twice a world medalist in the 3 metre mixed synchronised 3 metre springboard discipline, a double gold medalist at both the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games as well as a multiple minor medalist in both those events, the European Games and the FINA Diving World Cup. Domestically, Reid is a three-time national champion.
Eden Cheng is an English elite diver representing Great Britain and England. She won her first major medal in 2018 at the age of 15, when she won the gold medal at the European Championships in the 10 metre platform synchro with Lois Toulson.
Noah Oliver Williams is an English diver who represents Great Britain and specialises in the 10 metre platform event. He has won silver medals in the 10 metre synchro platform with Matthew Dixon at the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
Luis Felipe Uribe Bermudez is a Colombian diver. At the 2022 South American Games, he won gold medals in the 1 metre springboard, 3 metre springboard, and 3 metre synchronised springboard. Matteo Santoro is an Italian diver. At the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, he won a silver medal in the 3 metre mixed synchronised springboard. At the LEN European Aquatics Championships, he won a gold medal in the 3 metre mixed synchronised springboard in 2021 at 14 years of age and a bronze medal in the same event in 2022 at 15 years of age. He is a five-time World Junior Championships gold medalist and a four-time European Junior Championships gold medalist.
