Noemi Ryhner (born 24 April 2000) is a Swiss ice hockey player and member of the Swiss national team, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Leksands IF Dam.
Ryhner made her Swiss Women's Hockey League A (SWHL A) debut with the ZSC Lions Frauen in 2015. After winning the 2016 and 2017 SWHL A championships with the team, she transferred to SC Reinach Damen in 2017. After scoring 41 points in 38 games with Reinach over three years with the club, she transferred to the Ladies Team Lugano for the 2020–21 season. [1]
As a junior player with the Swiss national under-18 team, Ryhner participated in the IIHF U18 Women's World Championship in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. She served as team captain at the 2017 tournament.
At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics in Lillehammer, she won a bronze medal in the girls' ice hockey tournament while serving as an alternate captain to the Swiss under-16 team.
Ryhner made her senior national team debut at the 2019 IIHF Women's World Championship. [2] [3] She was named to the Swiss roster for the 2020 IIHF Women's World Championship, before the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In August 2020, it was announced she was one of twelve players selected by the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation to take part in the new national team Swiss Women's Hockey Academy. [4]
She represented Switzerland in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and at the IIHF Women's World Championship in 2021 and 2022. [5]
Sanna Kristiina Lankosaari is a Finnish ice hockey coach and retired player. She most recently served as head coach of Oulun Kärpät Naiset in the Naisten Liiga (NSML) during the 2022–23 season and part of the 2023–24 season.
Michelle Karvinen is a Danish-Finnish ice hockey player and member of the Finnish national team, currently signed with Frölunda HC Dam of the Damettan. Karvinen has been described as "the world's best technical player" and she is considered one of the best currently active ice hockey forwards. Stefanie Andrea Marty is a Swiss retired ice hockey player who currently serves as assistant coach to SC Reinach of the SWHL A. She was a member of the Swiss national team from 2003 until her retirement in 2017. With the Swiss national team, she won bronze medals at the 2014 Olympic Games and the 2012 IIHF Women's World Championship. At the 2010 Olympic Games, Marty scored 9 goals and tied with Meghan Agosta of Team Canada as top goal scorer of the tournament.

The league was founded in 1986 as the Leistungsklasse A, abbreviated LKA, and was also officially known as the Ligue nationale A in French and the Lega Nazionale A in Italian, both abbreviated as LNA. During 2014 to 2019, the league was called the Swiss Women's Hockey League A, abbreviated SWHL A; the abbreviation has been used by the league following the 2019 name change. An amateur league, it is organized by the Regio League, an organ of the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation.

Anna Kilponen is a Finnish ice hockey defenceman, currently playing in the Naisten Liiga (NSML) with the Ilves Tampere.
