Norddal or Norddalsfjord is a village in Flora Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The village lies along the Norddalsfjorden at the entrance to the Solheimsdalen valley. It sits at the mouth of the Norddalselva river on a small peninsula that sticks out into the fjord. The village lies along Norwegian County Road 544 about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of the town of Florø, and about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) northeast of the Norddalsfjord Bridge. Nordal Church is located in the small village, serving the northeastern part of the municipality.

Tafjord is a village in Norddal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is in a valley located at the end of the Tafjorden, about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southeast of the municipal centre of Sylte, and just west of the borders of Reinheimen National Park. In the park, the mountains Tordsnose, Karitinden, and Puttegga all lie about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) to the southeast of Tafjord in the Tafjordfjella mountain range.

Oppheimsvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Voss in Hordaland county, Norway. The 3.55-square-kilometre (1.37 sq mi) lake lies in the northern part of the municipality, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) east of the village of Vinje. The European route E16 highway runs along the northern side of the lake, right past Oppheim Church which sits in the small village of Oppheim, after which the lake is named. The village of Vasstrondi lies on the southern shore.

Tafjorden is an inner branch of the Norddalsfjorden/Storfjorden in Norddal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The fjord is located southeast of the village of Sylte, the municipal center of Norddal Municipality. The small village of Tafjord is located at the end of the 12-kilometre (7.5 mi) long Tafjorden. The only road leading to the rather isolated village of Tafjord goes through the 5,277-metre (3.3 mi) long Heggur Tunnel plus several other smaller tunnels on the northern shore of the fjord.

Norddalsfjorden is a branch off of the main Storfjorden in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The fjord is located in Norddal Municipality and a small part is also in Stranda Municipality. The fjord is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) long, when you include the Tafjorden arm that stretches further east, it is 24 kilometres (15 mi) in total. In the Middle Ages, the combined Norddalsfjorden and Tafjorden were probably called «Todarfjorden» (Tafjorden). Norwegian County Road 63 and Norwegian County Road 650 runs along the fjord and includes a ferry crossing between Eidsdal and Linge. In the 1960s villages Stranda-Liabygda-Eidsdal-Valldal-Norddal-Fjørå-Tafjord were still connected by a web of ferry crossings.

Norwegian County Road 63 is a Norwegian county road in Møre og Romsdal county and a very small part in Oppland county, Norway. It begins at Norwegian National Road 15 along the lake Langvatnet in Skjåk Municipality in Oppland county and it heads north where it ends at the junction with the European route E136 highway near the town of Åndalsnes in Rauma Municipality, Møre og Romsdal county. The route runs for 103.6 kilometres (64.4 mi) including a single ferry crossing over the Norddalsfjorden. The vast majority of the road is in Møre og Romsdal county, only the southernmost 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) lie in the extreme western part of Oppland county. Both the Langvatnet–Geiranger and Trollstigen sections of the road are closed during winter and spring due to the weather conditions. The road passes by a number of notable landmarks, which has led to the earmarking of the route as national tourist route.

Sylte or Valldal is the administrative center of Norddal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is situated at the southern end of the Valldalen valley along the shore of the Norddalsfjorden near the mouth of the Valldøla river, just west of the entrance to the Tafjorden. The 0.71-square-kilometre (180-acre) village has a population (2012) of 411. This gives the village a population density of 579 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,500/sq mi).

Eimhjellevatnet or Emhjellevatnet is a lake in Hyen area of Gloppen Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The 11.39-square-kilometre (4.40 sq mi) lake is located in the western part of the municipality near the border with Flora Municipality. The villages of Eimhjellen and Solheim can be found along its shore and the village of Straume lies about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) to the north. The lake lies about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of the municipal center of Sandane. It is the second largest lake in all of Gloppen municipality and it has a good population of trout for fishing.

The village is located in a valley with steep mountains on each side, on the southern shore of the Norddalsfjorden. Norddal is about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east of the village of Eidsdal and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) across the fjord to the south of the municipal centre of Valldal.

Eikefjord is a village in Flora Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The village is located at the end of the Eikefjorden along the Norwegian National Road 5 highway. The town of Florø lies about 30 kilometres (19 mi) to the west and the village of Naustdal lies about 20 kilometres (12 mi) to the southeast (through the Naustdal Tunnel. The lake Endestadvatnet lies about 5 kilometres to the east. The villages of Nyttingnes and Steinhovden lie about 15 kilometres west of Eikefjord. The 0.4-square-kilometre village has a population of 368, giving the village a population density of 920 inhabitants per square kilometre.

Nordal Church is a parish church in Flora Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located in the small village of Norddalsfjord, and it serves the northeastern part of the municipality. The church is part of the Nordal parish in the Sunnfjord deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in 1898 by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church was consecrated on 14 September 1898 by the Dean Andreas D. Jespersen. It seats about 200 people.
