The Nordviertel is the most northern borough of the city district Stadtbezirk I (Stadtmitte/Frillendorf/Huttrop) in Essen.
Nordviertel has 7,308 inhabitants[ when? ] and is therefore one of the smallest boroughs of Essen.[ citation needed ] It has an area of 2.86 km² and its average elevation is 48 metres above sea level.
The biggest part exists of residential cultivation.
Native country has become the Nordviertel of the Universität Duisburg-Essen. Where the university stands, was earlier the independent borough Segeroth.
One bus, two U-Bahn and one tramline (196, U11, U17 and 106 by the EVAG) go through this borough.
The old Jewish cemetery of the city located in the Assmannweg. BMW has one of the biggest branches in Germany there. In the Nordviertel is also the Bamler Servicepark with approximately 3000 workplaces and the Kaufpark Bamlerstraße with approximately 250 workplaces.
Essen is the central and, after Dortmund, second-largest city of the Ruhr, the largest urban area in Germany. Powellville is a former town on U.S. Highway 66, now an outer road of Interstate 44 in western Phelps County, Missouri, United States. It is located approximately 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Rolla on a ridge between Tater Hollow to the east and the Gasconade River approximately one mile to the west in adjacent Pulaski County.
Werden is a southern borough of the city of Essen in Germany. It belongs to the city district IX Werden/Kettwig/Bredeney and has 9,998 inhabitants as of June 30, 2006. The borough occupies a space of 4.04 km2 (1.56 sq mi) and is situated at a median height of 58 m above sea level (NN).
Kettwig is the southernmost borough of the city of Essen in western Germany and, until 1975, was a town in its own right. Oberbilk is an inner-city urban borough in the south-east of the German city of Düsseldorf. The back exit of the Central Station leads to Oberbilk. The new District Court of Düsseldorf is located in Oberbilk since 2010, as is the main office of the Communal Library of Düsseldorf. Oberbilk is also home to the Mitsubishi Electric Halle, a concert arena with a capacity for 7,500.

Borbeck-Mitte is the central borough of Borbeck, the fourth suburban district of Essen, Germany. Together with the other boroughs of the district, it was incorporated on April 1, 1915. Borbeck-Mitte has a population of roughly 13,500 people and a total area of 3.19 km2 or 1.23 sq mi. The name Borbeck derives from Bor(a)thbeki, which means either river in a fertile lowland or river of the Bructeri.
The Moltkeviertel is a district of the German city of Essen. It is located near the centre of the town, as the crow flies just over a kilometre to the south-east of the Essen main railway station. It is bounded by the thoroughfares Kronprinzenstrasse, Ruhrallee, Töpferstrasse and Rellinghauserstasse and by the railway line from Essen Main Station to Essen-Werden. Administratively, it belongs to the urban districts of Essen-Südostviertel and Essen-Huttrop. The centre point of the Moltkeviertel is the Robert-Schmidt-Berufskolleg, formerly the Königliche Baugewerkschule Essen, at the corner of Moltkestrasse and Robert-Schmidt-Strasse.
Saalbau Essen is a concert venue in Essen, Germany, the home of the Essen Philharmonic. The original building was completed in 1902, and destroyed during World War II on 26 July 1943. It was rebuilt between 1949 and 1954 and completely renovated in 2003 and 2004. The Saalbau Essen is located a little bit south of the city center close to the Aalto Theatre. Since the 2013/2014 season Tomáš Netopil has been the music director of Essener Philharmonic. Also since 2013/2014 Hein Mulders has been the intendant of the Saalbau Essen.
Altenessen is a northern borough of the city of Essen, Germany. Officially it is divided into the two boroughs of Altenessen-Nord (Altenessen-North) and Altenessen-Süd (Altenessen-South). Because of its size, Altenessen was divided into two parts, when it was incorporated into the city of Essen in 1915. Around 44.000 people live here.
Bamlerstraße is an underground station of the Essen Stadtbahn on the boundaries of Altenessen and Nordviertel, both being boroughs of Essen. Lines U11 and U17 call the station, as well as bus line 196. It is located at the crossroads of Bamlerstraße and Riedingerstraße. The station has two tracks. There is a lift in operation.
Altendorf is a northwestern borough of the city of Essen, Germany. It was incorporated into the city on 1 August 1901. Before it had been part of the Bürgermeisterei Altendorf, which existed since 1874. Altendorf consisted of two parts, Oberdorf and Unterdorf. Around 22.000 people live here.
Burgaltendorf is a southeastern borough of the city of Essen in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. When the former independent municipality of Altendorf (Ruhr) was incorporated into the city in 1970, it was renamed into Burgaltendorf to avoid confusion with the northwestern Essen borough of Altendorf. The borough Burgaltendorf is named after Castle Altendorf, which was built here in the 2nd half of the 12th century, probably between 1160 and 1180.
Byfang is a southeastern borough of the city of Essen, Germany. It was incorporated into the city in 1929. Around 2,000 people live in Byfang, and it still has the character of a village. The name derives from befangen or umfangen, which means to surround, to enfold, because it has been a settlement surrounded by forest.
The Anglican Diocese of Enugu North is one of 12 within the Anglican Province of Enugu, itself one of 14 provinces within the Church of Nigeria. The pioneer and current bishop is Sosthenes Eze, appointed in 2007.
