Norm Proft (born c. 1966) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He is the 1989 Grand Prix International de Paris bronze medalist and 1990 Skate Electric champion.
Proft was born around 1967 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. [1] He married choreographer Julie Brault, and has a daughter, Emmanuelle (born c. 2002). [1]
Proft switched from ice hockey to figure skating at age 11. [1] Coached by Cynthia Ullmark, he was called up to compete in the junior event at the 1987 Canadian Championships after two skaters withdrew. [2] He won gold at the event. [1]
Internationally, he was awarded bronze medals at the 1988 Golden Spin of Zagreb and 1989 Grand Prix International de Paris, and gold at the 1990 Skate Electric.
Proft left amateur competition in 1991 and went on to skate in shows. [1] He currently works for Skate Canada as Competitions Services Director. [3] [4]

Madison Hubbell is an American former ice dancer. She competed with Zachary Donohue from 2011 to 2022. With him, she is a two-time 2022 Winter Olympics medalist, a four-time World medalist, the 2018 Grand Prix Final champion, the 2014 Four Continents champion, and a three-time U.S. national champion.
Jeremy Ten is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medallist, 2014 CS Autumn Classic bronze medallist, and a three-time Canadian national medallist. He competed in the free skate at seven ISU Championships.
Michal Březina is a retired Czech figure skater. He is the 2013 European bronze medalist, 2011 Skate America champion, 2009 World Junior silver medalist and four-time Czech national champion. He also won the 2014-15 ISU Challenger Series. Michal represented the Czech Republic at the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Denis Yurievich Ten was a Kazakhstani figure skater. He was the 2014 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time World medalist, the 2015 Four Continents champion, the 2017 Winter Universiade champion, and a five-time national champion of Kazakhstan.
Vanessa James is a Canadian retired pair skater. Representing France with her former skating partner, Morgan Ciprès, she is the 2019 European Champion, the 2018 World bronze medallist, the 2017 European bronze medallist, the 2018 Grand Prix Final champion, and a six-time French national champion. They have also won medals in Grand Prix and Challenger Series competitions. James and Ciprès competed at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.

He is the 2019 European silver medalist, the 2019 Internationaux de France silver medalist, the 2017 Skate Canada International bronze medalist, the 2018 Internationaux de France bronze medalist, and a four-time 2017 Russian national medalist. He has won three medals on the ISU Challenger Series, including gold at the 2015 CS Warsaw Cup.

Joseph Mero is an American former pair skater. With his skating partner, Katy Keeley, he won silver at the 1984 St. Ivel International, gold at the 1986 Skate America, bronze at the 1987 Skate Canada International, bronze at the 1987 NHK Trophy, and bronze at the 1988 Grand Prix International de Paris. Camden Pulkinen is an American figure skater and he is the 2024 U.S. bronze medalist. He competed at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics and is the first male figure skater to compete on behalf of Team USA in the men's singles event at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. He is the 2017–18 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a two-time JGP Austria champion, and the 2018 U.S. national junior champion. He finished within the top five at the 2022 World Championships and within the top six at the 2018 World Junior Championships. He is the former world record holder for the junior men's short program. He graduated from Columbia University in May 2024.
Bruce Waddell is a Canadian ice dancer and singles skater. With his skating partner, Natalie D'Alessandro, he is the 2022 World Junior silver medallist and 2022 Canadian national junior champion. They have won three medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series, including gold at the 2021 JGP Slovakia, and bronze in the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics team event.
