The NorthPort Batang Pier is a Philippine 3x3 basketball team which competes in the PBA 3x3, organized by the Philippines' top-flight professional league, Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The team is affiliated with a PBA member franchise of the same name.

The AirAsia Philippine Patriots were a professional basketball team that played in the ASEAN Basketball League. It was the first team from the Philippines to play in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) and one of the teams that played in the inaugural season of the ABL. The team was co-owned by Michael "Mikee" Romero and businessman Antonio O. Cojuangco, Jr.

The Batang Pier bought the original franchise of the Powerade Tigers in June 2012. NorthPort, then named as GlobalPort, received the rights for all of the Powerade's players and draftees.
