The North Atlantic Conference men's basketball tournament is the annual conference basketball championship tournament for the NCAA Division III North Atlantic Conference. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. [1]

Contents

The winner, declared conference champion, receives the North Atlantic's automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Division III Basketball Championship.

The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) is an athletic conference, affiliated with the Division III ranks of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges in the New England states of Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont, as well as the Mid-Atlantic state of New York.

The 1992 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 64 schools playing in single-elimination play to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 19, 1992, and ended with the championship game on April 6 in Minneapolis. A total of 63 games were played.

David Pasiak is currently the head men's basketball coach and sports information director at Vermont State University Lyndon. He was named to those positions in September, 2017. Previously he was the head men's basketball coach at Onondaga Community College from August 2000 through December, 2015. He had a career record of 264–198 in 15+ seasons at OCC and 283–236 overall in 17+ seasons at the NJCAA level. Pasiak is actively involved in Coaches vs. Cancer. In his seventh season as head coach at OCC, he earned his 150th victory at the NJCAA level and in the process became Onondaga's all-time winningest coach. He also served as Onondaga's interim athletic director from November 2009 to August 2011, and served as associate athletic director until leaving the college in 2015. He was named Mid-State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2002, 2003 and 2008. He was the NJCAA Region III Division III Coach of the Year in 2003. Pasiak guided his 2006–2007 team to the school's first Mid-State Athletic Conference championship in 15 years.

John Manfredo Giannini is an American college basketball coach, Director of Athletics at Rowan University, and respected college basketball analyst for NBC Sports and other networks. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Rowan University from 1989 to 1996, the University of Maine from 1996 to 2004, and La Salle University from 2004 to 2018. Giannini led Rowan to an NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament championship in 1996 and led La Salle to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2013. Giannini amassed more than 500 victories in his collegiate coaching career.

The 1995–96 Drexel Dragons men's basketball team represented Drexel University during the 1995–96 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Dragons, led by 5th year head coach Bill Herrion, played their home games at the Daskalakis Athletic Center and were members of the North Atlantic Conference.
