North Bullitt High School is a school located in Hebron Estates, Kentucky, United States, [2] a small city served by the post office of nearby Shepherdsville. Opened in 1975, it is part of the Bullitt County Public Schools district. There are currently over 1,100 students enrolled at NBHS.

Contents

The school underwent renovations in 2005 which were fully completed by Fall 2008, adding a second story with additional classrooms. Another expansion for a career readiness center with fifteen additional classrooms was finished in 2014.

On November 4, 2021, approximately 50 students at North Bullitt High School walked out of class in protest to sexual harassment within the school. [3]

Caverna High School is a small public high school located in Horse Cave, Kentucky, United States. Built in 1950, the school is operated by the Caverna Independent Schools, one of only a handful of school districts in Kentucky that are known to operate across county lines. In 1950, Horse Cave, located in Hart County; Cave City, in Barren County; and the Kentucky Board of Education held a meeting that approved the union of the two districts because of the low student numbers in both school systems. The actual construction of the new school did not start until 1951. Originally the school was going to be named, "Caberma." However, it was decided to stay with the name "Caverna."
