Northern Ireland at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games (abbreviated NIR) was the fourth time that the nation had participated at the Games following appearances in 1934, 1938 and 1954. [1] [2]

The Games were held in Cardiff, Wales, from 18 to 26 July 1958. Northern Ireland finished 12th in the medal table with one gold medal, one silver and three bronze medals, of which all five came in the Boxing. [3]
