Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC), previously known as the Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU) until 2004, is the governing body for the sport of cricket in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe Cricket is a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC), and administers the Zimbabwe national cricket team, organising Test tours, One-Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals with other nations. It also organises domestic cricket, including the Castle Logan Cup, the Coca-Cola Metbank Pro50 Championship and the Stanbic Bank 20 Series in Zimbabwe.
Harare Sports Club is a sports club and the Harare Sports Club Ground is a cricket stadium in Harare, Zimbabwe. Founded in 1900 and known as Salisbury Sports Club until 1982, it is mostly used for cricket matches, and has served as the primary cricket venue in Rhodesia and Zimbabwe since its foundation. Other sports played at the club are rugby, tennis, golf and squash.
The Mashonaland cricket team was a first-class cricket team representing the Mashonaland province in Zimbabwe. They competed in the Logan Cup from 1994 until the format was revamped in 2007. James Kirtley played for Mashonaland during the 1996/1997 season. Andy Flower played for Mashonaland in 1994, 1995 and 2003.

Daniel Hondo is a former Zimbabwean rugby international and a cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Mashonaland A. He was born in Harare. He played rugby union as a centre for Zimbabwe and was captain.

The South African national cricket team toured Zimbabwe in November 1999 and played a single Test match against the Zimbabwean national cricket team. The tour took place immediately after Zimbabwe had visited South Africa to play their first Test match in the country with only a fortnight separating the matches. South Africa had previously played one Test match in Zimbabwe in 1995 and had visited the country to play a single One Day International in 1992 soon after the end of the apartheid era sporting boycott of South Africa, although sides from Zimbabwe and Rhodesia had previously played in South African domestic cricket competitions, including during the apartheid era.
Calum Walter Price is a domestic and former Zimbabwean Under-19 cricketer. Along with the likes of Keegan Meth and Kyle Jarvis, he is regarded as a great future pace prospect for Zimbabwe. Price belongs to a sporting family; his cousin Ryan Higgins, regarded as the second best leg spinner Zimbabwe has produced before taking an early retirement, played ODIs for Zimbabwe and his cousin Dylan captained the Under-19 side at the 2010 World Cup in New Zealand. Dylan was also selected for the ICC World XI with his good pal The Stoin.

Sunrise Sports Club is a cricket ground in Harare, Zimbabwe. The ground is bordered to the north and east by housing and to the west and south by open ground. First-class cricket was first played there in August 1998 when the Zimbabwe Cricket Union President's XI played the South Africa Academy, resulting in a six wicket victory for the President's XI. In October of that same year the ground held a second first-class fixture, with the President's XI playing the touring Indians, which the tourists won by an innings and 71 runs. The ground was scheduled to host a first-class match the following season in the 1998–99 Logan Cup between Mashonaland and Mashonaland A, however the match was abandoned without a ball bowled. India later played a one-day warm-up match at the ground against Zimbabwe A during their 2001 tour.
The Alexandra Sports Club is a sporting complex in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. The venue's primary use is as a cricket ground, and it has hosted both international and domestic fixtures.
Ian Coulson is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He played eleven first-class matches between 2000 and 2003.

The cricket ground has played host to first-class and List A one-day matches. It first hosted first-class cricket in 1987, when Zimbabwe B played Pakistan B. Following Zimbabwe's elevation to Test status in 1992, matches in the Logan Cup gained first-class status, with both Mashonaland Country Districts and Mashonaland using the ground for home matches; the ground also played host to List A matches for both Mashonaland Country Districts and Zimbabwe Country Districts, in addition to hosting three matches in the 2000 ICC Emerging Nations Tournament. First-class cricket has not been played there since 1997 and List A cricket has not been played there since 2001.
The Old Georgians Sports Club is a sports club Harare. Its facilities include a cricket ground. The cricket ground played host to one first-class cricket match in October 1992, when Zimbabwe B played the touring New Zealanders, which saw the New Zealanders Dipak Patel and Simon Doull taking five wicket hauls, and Mark Greatbatch scoring a century. In the same month the ground hosted its first List A one-day match when the Zimbabwe Cricket Union President's XI played the touring Indians, who were touring Zimbabwe to take part in the Zimbabwe's first Test series. The ground later held two one-day matches in the 2000 ICC Emerging Nations Tournament, with the Netherlands playing Ireland and Kenya, though the match against Ireland was called off due to a poor outfield and uneven pitch. After a gap of nearly 20 years, the last one-day match to be played there came in the 2019–20 Pro50 Championship when the Eagles played the Rangers.
