The Norway women's national floorball team represents Norway in international competitions of women's floorball. They won a bronze medal in the first world championship for women in Mariehamn, Finland in 1997. They also won the bronze medal in Riga, Latvia in 2001.

Floorball is a type of floor hockey with five players and a goalkeeper in each team. Men and women play indoors with 96–115.5 cm-long (37.8–45.5 in) sticks and a 70–72 mm-circumference (2.76–2.83 in) plastic ball with holes. Matches are played in three twenty-minute periods. Floorball was included in the World Games for the first time in 2017 in Wrocław, Poland. Sweden were the first World Games gold medal winners.
Vegard Ulvang is a Norwegian cross-country skier who won three Olympic gold medals, two silver, and one bronze. He has retired from international and Olympic competition. At the opening ceremony of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, he took the ceremonial Olympic Oath on part of all the athletes. In addition to his Olympic achievements, he received the Holmenkollen medal in 1991, and won the World Cup in 1990. He has also won nine gold, six silver, and two bronze medals in the Norwegian Championships. He earned nine World Cup race victories. Ulvang also won the 50 km at the Holmenkollen ski festival in 1989, 1991 and 1992.
Anni Helena Takalo is a Finnish former cross-country skier. She was born in Nivala, and was dominant women's cross-country skiing in the 1970s, earning five Winter Olympic medals and four FIS Nordic World Ski Championships medals.
Anne Jahren is a Norwegian former cross-country skier who competed from 1982 to 1990. She won a complete set of medals at the Winter Olympics with a gold in the 4 × 5 km relay (1984), a silver in the 4 × 5 km relay (1988), and a bronze in the 20 km (1984).
Gjelleråsen Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Gjelleråsen in Nittedal, founded 6 March 1935. It has sections for association football, floorball, swimming, gymnastics and skiing. Their club colours are green and white.

The Champions Cup is floorball tournament organized by the International Floorball Federation for the best clubs from the top four countries according to IFF World Ranking. As of 2020, those are Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, both for men and women. The tournament takes place every year in January both for men's and women's teams, that won in the previous season in their national leagues. Those are Finnish F-liiga, Swedish Svenska Superligan, Swiss National League A and Czech men's Superliga florbalu and women's Extraliga žen ve florbale. That means, there are eight teams in the tournament in total. The competing countries alternate in hosting the tournament. The event lasts two days.

Its biggest successes are silver medal from the 5th World Championships in 2004, which took place in Switzerland and bronze medals from the 8th World championships in 2010 played in Finland and the 10th World championships in 2014 played in Sweden. Czech Republic has appeared in every World and European Championships tournament organised by the IFF.
Sweden women's national floorball team represents Sweden in international competitions of women's floorball. The team played their first match in a world championship on 3 May 1997 against Austria in Mariehamn, Finland. The match ended in victory with 32-0 and is still the biggest victory ever in the floorball world championships. The team went unbeaten through the tournament and became the first world champions of women's floorball.
Australia women's national floorball team is the national team of Australia. At the 1999 Floorball Women's World Championship in Borlänge, Sweden, the team finished second in the B-Division. At the 2001 Floorball Women's World Championship in Riga, Latvia, the team finished sixth in the B-Division. At the 2003 Floorball Women's World Championship in Germany, the team finished eighth in the B-Division. At the 2005 Floorball Women's World Championship in Singapore, the team finished fifth in the B-Division. At the 2007 Floorball Women's World Championship in Frederikshavn, Denmark, the team finished fifth in the B-Division. At the 2009 Floorball Women's World Championship in Västerås, Sweden, the team won B-Division, and finished eleventh. At the 2011 Floorball Women's World Championship in St Gallen, Switzerland, the team finished fifteenth. At the 2013 Floorball Women's World Championship in Brno and Ostrava, Czech Republic, the team finished twelfth.
Norway's Bandy Association is the governing body for the sports of bandy, floorball and field hockey in Norway.
The 1999 Women's World Floorball Championships was the second world championship in women's floorball. The games were played in Borlänge, Sweden 9–15 May 1999. Finland won the tournament defeating Switzerland, 5-1, in the final-game and it was their first title. This also was the first time that the world championships were divided into two separate divisions, although all games were played at the same dates in Borlänge. Sweden won the bronze medals defeating Norway, 5-1, in the bronze medal game.
F-liiga is the highest-tier of floorball for women in Finland. The league was founded as Salibandyn naisten SM-sarja in 1988 by the Finnish Floorball Federation (SSBL). The former name, Naisten Salibandyliiga, was introduced for the 2000–01 season and its current name for the 2020–21 season. The F-liiga is operated by SSBL Salibandy Oy, a limited corporation owned entirely by the Finnish Floorball Federation.
The Philippines women's national floorball team is the women's national floorball team of the Philippines and is organized by Philippine Floorball Association.
Mia Blichfeldt is a Danish badminton player. She won the gold medals at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the girls' singles event, and later at the 2019 Minsk European Games in the women's singles event.
Floorball at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games was held at the University of the Philippines College of Human Kinetics Gymnasium in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines from 25 November to 1 December 2019. Medals were awarded for both men and women competitions.
