The Norwegian Challenge was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, played in Norway. It was founded in 1994 and was the leading men's tournament in Norway, which does not host a European Tour event.

The Challenge Tour is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe. It is operated by the PGA European Tour and, as with on the main European Tour and the European Senior Tour, some of the events are played outside Europe.
The Hero World Challenge is a golf tournament hosted by Tiger Woods, which takes place each December. It features a small number of top-ranked golf pros. The tournament is a benefit for the Tiger Woods Foundation. The event is part of the PGA Tour schedule, but does not offer FedEx Cup points or official money as it is an unofficial event.
Thomas Bjørn is a professional golfer from Denmark who plays on the European Tour. He is the most successful Danish golfer to have played the game having won fifteen tournaments worldwide on the European Tour. In 1997 he also became the first Dane to qualify for a European Ryder Cup team. He captained the winning European side at the 2018 Ryder Cup.
The Swedish Golf Tour (SGT) for men is a domestic professional golf tour, established in 1984 and operated by Svenska Golftourerna AB, owned equally by the Swedish Golf Federation and the PGA of Sweden.
