Nuclear is a Chilean thrash metal band founded in Arica, Chile, in 1998. The band has gone through several lineup changes and is currently signed to the label Candlelight Records.

History

Nuclear was formed in 1995 under the name Escoria, but it was not until 1997 when the first recording was released. After the dissolution in 2001, the name of Escoria turned to Nuclear and the original members Sebastian Puente, Francisco and Eugene Haussmann Sudy are maintained in a constant line up that continues to date.

The band has released four studio albums and toured in several countries sharing the stage with acts like Testament, Forbidden, Voivod, Grave, Hirax, 1349, Anthrax, Destruction, Witchcraft, Hate Eternal, Absu, At the Gates among others.

During 2013, the band released their first live DVD called Sick Mosh and Inner Hate, a split vinyl, which were put in launching and distributed by the Chilean label Sick Bangers.

Tour and constant releases of the band caught the attention of British label Candlelight Records, and in 2014 signed the band for future releases. And on 15 June 2015 the band released their fifth studio album entitled Formula for Anarchy. [2]

Prong is an American heavy metal band formed in New York City in 1986. The band is fronted by guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor, Prong's sole constant member. To date, they have released 12 studio albums, one live album, four EPs, one DVD and one remix album.

Pro-Pain

Pro-Pain is an American heavy metal band based in New York City, formed in 1991 by vocalist and bassist Gary Meskil and drummer Dan Richardson, both former members of Crumbsuckers. Their debut album Foul Taste of Freedom was released in 1992, displaying hardcore punk and rap metal influences, after which the band was signed to Roadrunner Records, who reissued the album the following year. Their second album The Truth Hurts was initially banned due to the sleeve artwork, featuring a picture of a stitched-up woman after an autopsy.

Jesus "Jesse" Ernesto Pintado Andrade was a lead guitar player born in Mexico who at an early age moved to the US. He started in the grindcore band Terrorizer where he recorded the album World Downfall, the first album to feature Pete Sandoval who would later leave the band to join Morbid Angel. It was Jesse Pintado who coined the term "grindcore" for the first time, to describe a musical mixture of "noise and chaos" which he was developing at that time.

Hirax

Hirax is an American thrash metal band from Cypress, California. Starting in 1984 under the leadership of vocalist Katon W. De Pena, the band played in Los Angeles and San Francisco with several of their thrash metal peers such as Metallica, Exodus, and Slayer. The band was an early example of thrash metal, speed metal and crossover thrash.

M.O.D. is an American crossover thrash band from New York City, fronted by Stormtroopers of Death vocalist Billy Milano. The band has been around for 35 years, and released eight studio albums. With M.O.D., Milano sought to continue on the musical path of the bands Anthrax, Stormtroopers of Death (S.O.D.) and Nuclear Assault, mixing shades of hardcore punk with thrash metal and often humorous and politically incorrect lyrics.

Circle of Dead Children is a deathgrind group which formed on October 24, 1998, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After the release of a self-titled demo that was put out the same year they formed, Circle of Dead Children signed on with Willowtip Records to release their debut full-length album, Starving the Vultures, which comprised the demo tracks as well as several new ones.

<i>Punishment in Capitals</i> 2002 live album by Napalm Death

Punishment in Capitals is a live CD and DVD-release by the band Napalm Death. It was recorded at the London ULU on 12 April 2002 at a benefit gig for animal rights organization Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty. This is the last release with Jesse Pintado.

Shredded Corpse was a grindcore, death metal band that formed 1991 from Little Rock, Arkansas. They released several demos through the 1990s, Death Brings Erection and Vomit, and several others. The band released their first commercial release, Exhumed and Molested, in 1996 for Wild Rags Records. Their second full-length album, Human Obliteration, was released in 1998 through Frozen Dawn Records. Another album entitled 'Total Hate Existence' was scheduled but was never released.

Kaamos was a Swedish death metal band that was formed in 1998 and disbanded in 2006. The band's name comes from the Finnish word for polar night.

Korzus

Korzus is a Brazilian thrash metal band, formed in 1983 in São Paulo. They are one of the first bands of the Brazilian thrash metal scene, along with bands like Sarcófago and Sepultura. Their first release was issued in the seminal metal compilation called SP Metal on Baratos Afins label back in 1985.

Evildead

Evildead is an American thrash metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1986. The band was originally composed of members of two former bands, Agent Steel and Abattoir, including guitarist Juan Garcia, who is their only remaining original member. During their initial nine-year run, Evildead released only two studio albums: Annihilation of Civilization (1989) and The Underworld (1991). Although their commercial success was limited, their music is still highly regarded amongst metal fans. Evildead was plagued by extended inactivity due to lineup changes and problems with making a follow-up to The Underworld. This resulted in their official breakup in 1995. After a short-lived reunion from 2008 to 2012, the band reformed once again in 2016, and released their third studio album United $tate$ of Anarchy, their first in 29 years, in October 2020.

Coprofago is a technical death metal band formed by Sebastián Vergara, Pablo Alvarez, Pablo Solari and Ignacio Suit in Santiago, Chile, in June 1993. The name of the band is taken from the Greek "copro" ("feces") and "fago" ("eat").

English Dogs were a British hardcore punk band that began life in the early eighties. Two versions of the band exist, the punk and metal crossover band featuring original drummer Andrew "Pinch" Pinching and second-era members Graham "Gizz" Butt and Adie Bailey and a punk-based one featuring original vocalist Pete "Wakey" Wakefield.

Khors is a Ukrainian black metal and pagan metal band formed in 2004 in Kharkiv by Khorus, the former bass guitarist of Astrofaes. Stylistically Khors blends a few of metal’s sub-genres together, and also is characterized as heathen dark metal. Suicidal Angels Greek thrash metal band

Suicidal Angels are a Greek thrash metal band formed in 2001 in Athens, Greece, by guitarist/vocalist and main songwriter Nick Melissourgos. Since its inception, the band has released seven studio albums, and has gone through several line-up changes leaving Melissourgos as the only constant member.
