Nusser Island ( 65°43′S65°43′W / 65.717°S 65.717°W Coordinates: 65°43′S65°43′W / 65.717°S 65.717°W ) is an island 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) north of Laktionov Island, off the east side of Renaud Island in the Biscoe Islands. The island was first accurately shown on an Argentine government chart of 1957. It was named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1959 for Franz Nusser, an Austrian meteorologist who specialized in sea ice studies.

It was first accurately shown on an Argentine government chart of 1957. The island was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1959 after Aleksandr F. Laktionov, a Soviet sea ice specialist in the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, Leningrad, 1927–65, who became head of the Department of Oceanography, Ice Forecasting and River Mouths.

Drygalski Glacier is a broad glacier, 18 nautical miles long and 15 miles (24 km) wide at its head, which flows from Herbert Plateau southeast between Ruth Ridge and Kyustendil Ridge, and enters Solari Bay immediately north of Sentinel Nunatak on Nordenskjöld Coast, the east coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. It was discovered in 1902 by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition, under Otto Nordenskiöld, and named "Drygalski Bay" after Professor Erich von Drygalski. The feature was determined to be a glacier by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1947.
Telefon Ridge is a ridge rising west of Telefon Bay on Deception Island, in the South Shetland Islands. Named from association with Telefon Bay by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1959.
William Glacier is a glacier flowing south from the interior highlands of Anvers Island to the head of Börgen Bay on the southeast coast of the island, in the Palmer Archipelago. Discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition, 1897–99, under Gerlache, and charted by them simply as a "grand glacier." The name William Glacier first appears on a chart based upon a 1927 survey by DI personnel on the Discovery.
Wittmann Island is an island lying 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) west-southwest of Nusser Island, off the east side of Renaud Island in the Biscoe Islands. First accurately shown on an Argentine government chart of 1957, it was named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1959 after Walter I. Wittmann, an American oceanographer who has specialized in sea ice studies.
Ambergris Glacier is a glacier flowing south-southeast from Mount Sara Teodora between Chintulov Ridge and Valkosel Ridge to join Flask Glacier just west of Fluke Ridge in Aristotle Mountains on the east coast of Graham Land, Antarctica. One of several names in the area that reflect a whaling theme, it was named in 1987 by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee from the substance secreted by the sperm whale and used in perfumery.
Bigo Bay is a bay 8 nautical miles (15 km) long and 6 nautical miles (11 km) wide, indenting the west coast of Graham Land between Cape Garcia and Magnier Peninsula surmounted by the Magnier Peaks and Lisiya Ridge.
Nemo Glacier is a glacier flowing east into Nemo Cove, Pourquoi Pas Island, in northeast Marguerite Bay. Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC), 1979, in association with Nemo Cove.
Werner Peak is the highest (1,550 m) and most conspicuous peak on the southeast side of Mercator Ice Piedmont. The peak rises just east of the north end of Norwood Scarp. Widdowson Glacier is a glacier situated between Drummond and McCance Glaciers and flowing into Darbel Bay south of Sokol Point, on the west coast of Graham Land.
The Elgar Uplands are uplands rising to 1,900 metres (6,200 ft), between Tufts Pass to the north and Sullivan Glacier to the south, in the northern part of Alexander Island, Antarctica. They were first photographed from the air and roughly mapped by the British Graham Land Expedition in 1937. They were remapped from air photos taken by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition, 1947–48, by D. Searle of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1960, and from U.S. Landsat imagery of February, 1975. They were named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee after Sir Edward Elgar, the English composer (1857-1934).
Moider Glacier is a glacier flowing west into the east side of Dalgliesh Bay, Pourquoi Pas Island, in Marguerite Bay, Antarctica. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1979 in association with nearby Perplex Ridge; the word "moider" can be a synonym for "perplex".
Long Glacier is a glacier about 8 nautical miles long in the southeastern part of Thurston Island, Antarctica. It flows south to the Abbot Ice Shelf, 14 nautical miles (26 km) west of Harrison Nunatak. The glacier was mapped by the United States Geological Survey from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960–66, and was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Fred A. Long, Jr., an aviation machinist of U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6, who wintered at Little America V in 1957 and was in Antarctica in the 1960–61 and 1962–63 seasons.
Heap Island is an island off the southeast coast of Renaud Island in the Biscoe Islands of the Graham Coast of Antarctica, between Jurva Point and Bates Island. In association with the names of sea-ice specialists grouped in this area, it was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1985 after John A. Heap, a sea-ice specialist with the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), 1955–62, who worked in the Antarctic with FIDS, 1955–56, with the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition, 1956–57, and with the United States Antarctic Research Program, 1962–63. He was later head of the Polar Regions Section at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and a member of the UK-APC from 1976.
The Hennessy Islands are a group of small islands 2 nautical miles (4 km) in extent, lying 4 nautical miles (7 km) southeast of Jurva Point, the southeast end of Renaud Island, in the Biscoe Islands of Antarctica. The main islands in the group were first accurately shown on an Argentine government chart of 1957. The group was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1959 for Jack Hennessy (1885–1954), Deputy Marine Superintendent of the (British) Meteorological Office, 1940–54, who collected and published reports on sea ice observations in Antarctic waters, 1902–53.
McCance Glacier is the 30-km long and 5 km wide glacier draining the Hutchison Hill area on the west slopes of Avery Plateau on Loubet Coast in Graham Land, Antarctica. It flows north-northwestwards along the west side of Osikovo Ridge, Kladnitsa Peak and Rubner Peak and enters Darbel Bay.
Screen Islands is a group of islands extending northwest from Aguda Point for 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) across the entrance to Hidden Bay, off the west coast of Graham Land. First charted by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition under Gerlache, 1897-99. So named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1958 because they form a screen across the entrance to Hidden Bay.
Sorge Island is an island lying just south of The Gullet in Barlas Channel, close east of Adelaide Island. Mapped by Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) from surveys and air photos, 1948-59. Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for Ernst F.W. Sorge, German glaciologist who made the first seismic soundings of the Greenland ice sheet, 1929–31, and developed a theory of the densification of firn.
Renaud Glacier is a heavily crevassed glacier on the east side of Hemimont Plateau flowing southeast to enter Seligman Inlet between Lewis Glacier and Choyce Point, on the east coast of Graham Land. The glacier was first photographed by the United States Antarctic Service (USAS), 1939-41. Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for Andre Renaud, Swiss glaciologist and chairman of the Swiss Glacier Commission, 1955-74.
Rotz Glacier is a tributary glacier 9 nautical miles (17 km) long and 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) wide. It flows west from Wakefield Highland, central Antarctic Peninsula, into Airy Glacier at a point due south of Mount Timosthenes. Photographed by Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE) on November 27, 1947. Surveyed by Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in December 1958 and November 1960. Named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) after Jean Rotz, 16th century French chartmaker and writer on the principles of navigation, who designed an elaborate magnetic compass and became hydrographer to King Henry VIII in 1542.
Bender Glacier is a glacier that flows from Mount Atkinson and Mount Craddock southwards between Chaplin Peak and Krusha Peak, and joins Nimitz Glacier just south of Gilbert Spur in the southern Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains in Antarctica. Receiving ice influx from its left tributaries Severinghaus Glacier, Brook Glacier and Bolgrad Glacier.
