Nuuk Marathon

Nuuk Marathon is a marathon event held annually in the Greenlandic capital of Nuuk. It has been held since 1990 and attracts around 350 competitors.

Route

The Nuuk Marathon's route is 21,097.5 metres (13 miles 192.5 yards) doubled. [1] The route passes Old Nuuk and the old houses at the colonial harbour, and moves through the suburb of Nuussuaq, past Nuuk Airport and the new district of Qinngorput and across some demanding inclines framed by the mountains before returning to Nuuk.

The Nottingham 'Robin Hood' Marathon, is a race in Nottingham, England held every year since 1981. The race today incorporates a half-marathon and a fun-run. A corporate relay event is also held in which teams of five runners from local companies and businesses run legs of 2–3 miles on the half-marathon course.

Hong Kong Marathon marathon running race held in Hong Kong

Nuuk Art Museum

Nuuk Art Museum is a national museum in Greenland, located in Nuuk, the capital. The museum contains a notable collection of paintings, watercolors, drawings, graphics, figures in soapstone, ivory, and wood, with many items collected by the businessman Svend Junge. Of particular note is a collection of over 150 paintings by Emanuel A. Petersen.

The 1966–67 Greenlandic Football Championship was the 5th edition of the Greenlandic Men's Football Championship. The final round was held in Nuuk. It was the second football championship won by Kissaviarsuk-33.
