Qernertunnguit is a neighborhood of Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. It is part of the Quassussuup Tungaa district, [1] located in the northwestern part of the town, facing the Nuup Kangerlua fjord.

Kapisillit is a settlement in the Sermersooq municipality in southwestern Greenland. The settlement had 43 inhabitants in 2024. Kapisillit means "the salmon" in the Greenlandic language. The name refers to the belief that the only spawning-ground for salmon in Greenland is a river near the settlement.

Moravian Brethren Mission House or Herrnhut House is a historical building in Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, established in 1747 from timber shipped to the United Brethren from the Netherlands. It was the centre of the Moravian Brethren Mission in Greenland and the missionaries operated across the west coast of Greenland from this building. Greenlander converts were reported saying, "If it can be so beautiful here on Earth, how wonderful must it not be in Heaven."

Blok P, in Nuuk, was the largest residential building in all of Greenland. It contained around 320 apartments and it is said that approximately 1% of the total population of the entire island lived in the building. The building was demolished on 19 October 2012.
Kangerluarsunnguaq Fjord is a small fjord in the Sermersooq municipality in southwestern Greenland. Since 2008 the Kobbefjord Research Station, utilized by Nuuk Basic monitoring programme under Greenland Ecosystem Monitoring, has been located on the fjord shores.
Nuuk Center, also shortened NC, is a shopping mall located in Nuuk, Greenland. The mall, which is the first shopping mall in Greenland, was inaugurated on July 27, 2012. Located next door to the Katuaq Culture Centre, the mall is focused on offering services to a broad spectrum of customers. Above the mall is an 8-story office tower with 7,000 square metres of space. Nuuk Center is the largest and tallest building in Greenland.
