Nyckoles Harbor (born July 5, 2005) is an American football wide receiver for the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Early years

Harbor was born in 2005 in Washington, D.C.. His father, Azuka Jeanard Harbor, was a professional soccer player who played for United States men's national soccer team from 1992 to 1997. Nyckoles attended Archbishop Carroll high School in Washington and played high school football as a tight end and defensive end. He was selected twice as the Gatorade Player of the Year in the District of Columbia. [1] He was rated as a five-star recruit and one of the best players in the 2023 college football recruiting class; he was ranked at No. 9 by Rivals.com and No. 11 by 247Sports. [2] [3]

South Carolina

After receiving multiple scholarship offers, Harbor committed to the University of South Carolina and enrolled there in the summer of 2023. In August 2023, he was ranked No. 1 on Bruce Feldman's annual college football "Freaks List". It was the first time in 20 years of preparing the "Freaks List" that Feldman rated a true freshman as his No. 1 football freak. Feldman wrote Harbor was a rare freak due to his combination of large size (6-foot-5, 243 pounds) and speed (10.2-second 100-meter time). [4]
