O Hayat Benim (English title: That is my life) is a Turkish television drama series, originally broadcast on FOX from 2014 to 2017. [1] The series follows Bahar who was snatched from her mother's arms (Hasret) at birth by her grandfather and is put to live with his servants until, many years later, the old man reveals her existence to her millionaire birthfather (Mehmet). As the birthfather comes to collect his daughter, the adoptive mother (Nuran) of Bahar uses her biological daughter Efsun in her stead to gain wealth for her poor family. Halfway throughout the series, the lie is revealed, but problems deepen between the characters residing in the Mehmet estate and those whose lives revolve around them.

An exonym is a place name, used by non-natives of that place, that differs from the official or native name for that place. Turkish has a wealth of exonyms in areas beyond the current borders of Turkey notably those that were once part of Ottoman Empire and its vassals and tributaries or within the Turkish, Ottoman, or a Turkic sphere of cultural or economic influence. In addition, Turkish sometimes renders the names of other cities in phonetic Turkish spelling, e.g., Chicago as Şikago or Manchester as Mançester. As these forms are not commonly used in Turkish, there is no systematic attempt to include them here.

Coal, cars and lorries vent more than a third of Turkey's six hundred million tonnes of annual greenhouse gas emissions, which are mostly carbon dioxide and part of the cause of climate change in Turkey. The nation's coal-fired power stations emit the most carbon dioxide, and other significant sources are road vehicles running on petrol or diesel. After coal and oil the third most polluting fuel is fossil gas; which is burnt in Turkey's gas-fired power stations, homes and workplaces. Much methane is belched by livestock; cows alone produce half of the greenhouse gas from agriculture in Turkey.
