Obech is a village in Belarus in the district of Brest, located at 52°26′00″N024°40′00″E / 52.43333°N 24.66667°E / 52.43333; 24.66667 , 252.7 kilometres (157.0 mi) SW of Minsk. It was formerly a Jewish shtetl.
