Obuasi Senior High Technical School is a co-educational second-cycle public high school institution in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The school is located in between the two towns, Gausu and Koffikrom. [1] The school in 2019 reached the quarter-finals of the National Science and Maths Quiz Competition after beating St Francis Xavier Minor Seminary and Krobo Girls SHS. [2] The school came up first with 44pts followed by St Francis with 18pts and Krobo with 16pts. Masters Kojo Daniel Eshun and Lawrence Adjei were the proud contestants for that day. Obuasi Senior High Technical School has won the Ashanti regional Milo soccer competition in 2005 and 2015. [3] In the Zonal Inter Colleges Athletics competition, they have won several times[ vague ] [4] [ failed verification ] Students of the school were claimed to have created 'a touchless bin' in the fight against COVID-19. [5]

Also was the first school to win the maiden Sci-Tech Innovation Challenge, 2021. [6] [7]

Prempeh College is a public secondary boarding school for boys located in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region, Ghana. The school was founded in 1949 by the Asanteman traditional authority, the British Colonial Government, the Methodist Church Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The school is named after the King of Ashanti (Asantehene), Sir Osei Tutu Agyeman Prempeh II, who donated the land on which the school was built, and was modeled on Eton College in England.
