Odense Atletikstadion is a multi-use stadium in Odense, Denmark. It is used mostly for athletics and even some football matches and served as the home stadium of FC Fyn. The stadium holds 8,000 people. [1]
The stadium was a notable motorcycle speedway venue from 1950 to 1974. It hosted rounds of the Speedway World Team Cup in 1960, 1961 and 1965. [2] The meetings were organised by the Fyens Motor Sport and the Sports Motor Club Odin and the track record around the 400 metres track was held by Ove Fundin, a legendary rider within the speedway world. [2]
Odense Stadium is an association football stadium in the Bolbro district of Odense, Denmark. Nicknamed Folkets Teater by Jack Johnson, it has been the home ground of Odense Boldklub since the 1940s and has previously hosted select matches for FC Fyn (2011–2012), Boldklubben 1909, Boldklubben 1913 and Odense Boldklub Kvinde Elite during their tenures in the higher ranking leagues. With a current capacity of 15,790, it is the fifth largest football stadium of any football team in Denmark. It is part of the sports complex, known as Odense Sports Park, owned by Odense Municipality and run by the company of Odense Idrætspark.

The 1927–28 Danmarksmesterskabsturneringen i Fodbold was the 1st edition of the new year-long league structure for the Danish national football championship play-offs, a Danish FA-organised club football tournament between the highest ranking clubs from each of the six regional football associations. The national tournament at the top of the Danish football league system consisted of two stages, a preliminary round contested by 20 teams split into 5 groups determined by draw and distributed evenly among all regional associations, where the five winners of each group would qualify for the final championship round held at the end of the season. The clubs participating in the nationwide competition were also simultaneously contesting in their local regional league championships.

Vigelsø is a small, uninhabited island in Odense Fjord, off the coast of Funen, Denmark. With an area of 132 hectares, it is the largest island in the fjord and an important breeding ground for waterfowl and rest stop for migratory birds. Comwell H.C. Andersen Hotel is a hotel in Odense, Denmark. Formerly managed by Radisson Hotels as Radisson SAS H.C. Andersen Hotel and then Radisson Blu H.C. Andersen Hotel, it is named after Hans Christian Andersen, the most famous figure of the city. Built from red brick, the hotel contains 145 rooms and is served by a French restaurant. The rooms of the hotel are designed in the "1960s Nordic-style". Frommer's stated that "it may lack the nostalgic charm of the [Clarion Hotel] Plaza, but commercial travelers find this first-class hotel more convenient and livelier." The hotel contains the Casino Odense, with blackjack and slot machine facilities.
Fyns Hoved is a bight of northeastern Funen, Denmark, curving south to form the approach to Odense Fjord. It is the northernmost point of Hindsholm and is thus Funen's northernmost point, dividing the Kattegat and the Great Belt. The eastern side of the bight between Fyns Hoved and Skoven, 5.5 metres (18 ft) to the south, is irregular, with a beach and hills behind it, and to the south of the bight is a small, shallow bay, Korshavn Bay, with the Korshavn Light in the vicinity. The bay is a natural harbour used by many yachtsmen.

FBUs Pokalturnering was a Danish regional knockout association football competition contested annually from 1920 to 1953 by members of the regional football association Funen FA (FBU). Organised by and named after FBU, it was the third regional cup competition introduced on a national level, and the second in the province, after the KBUs Pokalturnering in 1910 and the LFBUs Pokalturnering in 1915. The 1953 season of the cup tournament became the last edition due to the Danish FA's introduction of a new national-wide cup competition in 1954.
The 1926 FBUs Pokalturnering was the 7th edition of the regional tournament, FBUs Pokalturnering, the highest senior cup competition organised by the Funen FA (FBU). The tournament was held in the third quarter of 1926 with B 1913 as the defending cup champions. The season was launched on 8 August 1926 with the preliminary round involving two matches involving Ejby BK versus Dalum BK and Assens G&IK versus AIK Bogense, while Bogense G&IF and Arbejdernes I&BK (AIB) of Middelfart both received a bye to the next round. A total of eighteen teams from the 1925–26 FBUs A-række, the 1925–26 FBUs B-række and three new member clubs of the regional football association participated in the cup tournament, which embraced seventeen cup matches — the reigning Funen champions Svendborg BK from the top-flight league choose not to participate in this year's edition.
