Off-Air with Gbemi & Toolz is an uncensored gossip and infotainment talk show that was created by Gbemi and Toolz. The talk show was created in response to the duo's daily listeners who had listened to their "Handover session" on The Beat 99.9 FM for over a decade. The talk show series debuted on October 10, 2019, on YouTube and racked up nearly a quarter of a million views, over 25 thousand listeners on the audio podcasts and almost 7,000 subscribers in just three months into the show. [1] For its sixth season, exclusive episodes began to air on DStv, GOtv and Showmax. [2] [3]
Off-Air with Gbemi & Toolz is a talk show with elements of gossip, infotainment, games, celebrity guests, musical performances [4] and human-interest stories. The show often features the contributions of the crew behind the camera.
After the release of Blood Sisters, a Netflix limited series, Off-Air with Gbemi & Toolz shot an Off-Air special, "Peas In A Pod". Two episodes with two cast members, Nancy Isime and Ini Dima-Okojie of Blood Sisters and their best friends respectively, [5] [6] and one episode with Bimbo Ademoye and Kunle Remi
Gbemi & Toolz had three cast members of The Real Housewives of Lagos on the fourth episode of the fifth season. Mariam Timmer, Chioma Goodhair and Iyabo Ojo were guests on this special episode as other cast members were unavoidably absent. [7]

Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi is a Nigerian former broadcaster at The Beat 99.9 FM, entrepreneur and co-host of "Off-Air with Gbemi & Toolz" podcast. Gbemi is the granddaughter of late Olowo of Owo Sir Olateru-Olagbegi II KBE. In 2008, Gbemi won the on-air personality of the year at the Future Awards Africa. In 2015, Gbemi founded Gbemisoke shoes. A shoe line created for women with difficulties in shopping for the right shoe size. At the fifth edition of the Arise Fashion Week, Lagos in 2018, Gbemi walked the runway for FIA Factory. In 2019, Gbemi became one of the faces from Megalectrics Ltd for Rémy Martin.
Mercy Johnson Okojie is a Nigerian actress, film director and film producer. She went to a Rivers State Secondary School for her secondary education in addition to the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Right after her secondary education, she auditioned for a role in the movie titled The Maid and subsequently acted in other movies such as Hustlers, Baby Oku in America, and War in the Palace.
