Ohsweken Demons were a Canadian professional indoor lacrosse team that played in the Canadian Lacrosse League. The Demons played out of the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Hagersville, Ontario. [1]
The Ohsweken Demons played their first game ever on January 7, 2012, at home, in Hagersville, Ontario. The Demons defeated the Oshawa Machine 19–13.
Ohsweken finished the 2012 regular season with an 8–6 record, placing them 3rd in the CLax standings. In the first round of playoff action the Demons would face the second-seeded Brampton Inferno, who also finished the season with an 8–6 record. Chris Attwood would score the decisive goal to give Ohsweken the 17–16 victory. In the Creators' Cup championship, the Demons would face the Iroquois Ironmen in an all native match-up. Ohsweken would become the first-ever Creators' Cup Champions winning 15–10.
Many Demons players were commemorated for their efforts on the 2012 All-CLax team as well as by receiving awards in the first-ever season of the Canadian Lacrosse League. Goalie Jeff Powless was named to the All-CLax First Team and CLax Goaltender of the Year. Chris Attwood was selected to the first team, as well as being named the Offensive Player of the Year and league MVP. Clay Hill, a former member of the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League, was named to the All-CLax Second Team.

Delby Powless, is a Mohawk lacrosse player from the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation near Brantford, Ontario. He was born in Six Nations, Ontario, and is the grandnephew of Ross Powless and cousin of Gaylord Powless, both of whom are in the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. He has played for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse. In 2003, Powless received the Tom Longboat Award as the top male Aboriginal athlete.
The Windsor Clippers is a Canadian junior box lacrosse team and members of the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League of the Ontario Lacrosse Association. The team, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, was known as the Windsor AKO Fratmen from 2003 until 2009 as they were sponsored by the AKO Fraternity.
Steve Toll is a former lacrosse player who is currently the asst coach of Panther City Lacrosse Club. In his 14-year National Lacrosse League career, Toll won five NLL Championships four with the Toronto Rock and one with the Rochester Knighthawks. He was a transition specialist, and in 2007 was awarded the first ever National Lacrosse League Transition Player of the Year Award.

Craig Point, is an Iroquois lacrosse player who currently plays for the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League and the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse. He was born in Ohsweken, Ontario, and comes from the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation.
Clay Hill is a professional box lacrosse player. He was a member of the National Lacrosse League's Buffalo Bandits for seven seasons, where he won a NLL Championship in 2008. He also played from 1997 until 2012 as a member of the Mann Cup-eligible Six Nations Chiefs. Now, late in his career, he plays in the semi-professional Canadian Lacrosse League during the winter and the OLA Senior B Lacrosse League in the summer.
The Hamilton Nationals were a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) professional men's field lacrosse team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They began play in the 2009 season in Toronto, Ontario as the Toronto Nationals, becoming the first-ever Canadian MLL team. In 2009, they played their home games at BMO Field, which is also home to Major League Soccer's Toronto FC but moved to the smaller Lamport Stadium for the 2010 season. On February 3, 2011, the Nationals announced that they were relocating to Hamilton, Ontario, and would play their home games at Ron Joyce Stadium on the campus of McMaster University. On 21 November 2013, MLL announced that the team would not participate in the 2014 season, with most of the players being transferred to the expansion Florida Launch.
The Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League is a Senior-level box lacrosse league with teams in the Western New York and Central New York regions of New York State and southern Ontario in Canada, mostly on tribal reservations of the Iroquois Confederacy. Sanctioned by the First Nations Lacrosse Association, the champions of the Can-Am league compete for the Presidents Cup, the Canadian National Senior B championship. Can-Am teams have won the Presidents' Cup five times.

CLax ceased operation on August 31, 2016 after the league's single-entity ownership group, Charlesway Corporation Limited and Rodney 'Demon' Hill, deemed the league's business model to be no longer viable.

The Ironmen, along with the Ohsweken Demons, played out of the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Ohsweken, Ontario. On November 8, 2013, team owner Rodney Hill announced that the team would be folding prior to the 2014 season.
The Iroquois Lacrosse Arena is a box lacrosse arena on the outskirts of Hagersville, Ontario, Canada on the Six Nations of the Grand River Reserve. The arena opened in 2004 and does not host hockey games as there is no refrigeration system for ice.
