Olena Karakuts (born 1 October 1992) is a Ukrainian female acrobatic gymnast. With partners Nadiia Kotliar and Kateryna Bilokon, Karakuts competed in the 2014 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships. [1]
Acrobatics is the performance of human feats of balance, agility, and motor coordination. Acrobatic skills are used in performing arts, sporting events, and martial arts. Extensive use of acrobatic skills are most often performed in acro dance, circus, gymnastics, and freerunning and to a lesser extent in other athletic activities including ballet, slacklining and diving. Although acrobatics is most commonly associated with human body performance, the term is used to describe other types of performance, such as aerobatics.

Ukrayina maye talant is a Ukrainian reality television series on the STB television network, and part of the global British Got Talent series. It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, sketch artists, comedians, and other performers of all ages competing for the advertised top prize of ₴1,000,000. The show debuted in April 2009. The three judges Vladyslav Yama, Slava Frolova and Ihor Kondratiuk joined host Oksana Marchenko. Contestants Kseniya Simonova and Anastasia Sokolova were revealed by this show. The show is now in its sixth season with two new judges: Hector Jimenez-Bravo and Viacheslav Uzelkov.

The Ukrainian broadcaster National Television Company of Ukraine (NTU) organised a national final in order to select the Ukrainian entry for the 2014 contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. Twenty entries competed in the national selection held on 21 December 2013 and "Tick-Tock" performed by Mariya Yaremchuk was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from a five-member jury panel and a public televote.

Following three elimination shows and a final on 2 March 2014, a five-member jury selected Dilara Kazimova as the winner. The song "Start a Fire" was internally selected and presented to the public on 16 March.
