Oliver Kapanen (born 29 July 2003) is a Finnish professional ice hockey centre for KalPa of the Finnish Liiga as a prospect to the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the second round, 64th overall, by the Canadiens in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Kapanen represented Finland at the 2021 IIHF World U18 Championships where he appeared in four games. [3] Kapanen will represent Finland at the 2022 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. [4]
Kapanen comes from a hockey playing family. He is the grandson of former professional hockey player Hannu Kapanen and the son of Kimmo Kapanen. He is the great-nephew of Jari Kapanen , nephew of Sami Kapanen and cousin of Kasperi Kapanen and Konsta Kapanen . [5]

Kalevan Pallo (KalPa) is a professional ice hockey team which competes in the Finnish Liiga. They play in Kuopio, Finland at the Olvi Areena.
Kimmo Samuel Timonen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenseman who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, and Chicago Blackhawks. Timonen had played in over 1,100 NHL games before retiring. During his career, Timonen had also featured in three IIHF World Junior Championships, seven IIHF World Championships, two World Cups and five Olympic tournaments. He won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2015 in his final career game.
