Olivier Saminadin (born 6 September 1977) is a French swimmer from New Caledonia. Due to New Caledonia's status as an overseas territory of France, and its current lack of official recognition by the International Olympic Committee, Saminadin (like other swimmers from New Caledonia, such as Diane Bui Duyet), swims for New Caledonia in regional (Pacific) competition, and for France in continental and above championships.

He won the inaugural 400 I.M. title at the first French Short Course Championships in January 2005. [1]

South Pacific Games

At the 1999 South Pacific Games, he set the Games Record in the men's 200 free (1:56.08).

At the 2003 South Pacific Games he won the 200, 400 and 1500 frees, the 200 fly, the 400 individual medley and the open water race; and was also part of all 3 New Caledonia's relays, each which also won.

At the 2007 South Pacific Games, he defended his titles in both 400s (free and I.M.), the 1500 and the open water race. He also set the Games Record in the 400 free (4:04.92).

Kirsten Cameron, born 1973 in Masterton, is a former New Zealand Distance freestyle and open water swimmer and a world record holder in Masters swimming in the 30-34, 35-39 and 40-44 age groups. Freestyle swimming Category of swimming competition

Freestyle is a category of swimming competition, defined by the rules of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), in which competitors are subject to a few limited restrictions on their swimming stroke. Freestyle races are the most common of all swimming competitions, with distances beginning with 50 meters and reaching 1500 meters, also known as the mile. The term 'freestyle stroke' is sometimes used as a synonym for 'front crawl', as front crawl is the fastest swimming stroke. It is now the most common stroke used in freestyle competitions.

Diane Bui Duyet, sometimes spelled "Bui-Duyet", is a French/New Caledonian swimmer. Due to the New Caledonia's status as an overseas territory of France, Bui Duyet competes for New Caledonia in regional (Pacific) competitions and for France in continental and above competitions. At the 2007 and 2011 Pacific Games, Bui Duyet swam on several relay teams together with Lara Grangeon, who also represents both France and New Caledonia.

Lara Grangeon is a French swimmer from the territory of New Caledonia who competes in the individual medley and butterfly events. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she finished 18th overall in the heats in the 400 metre individual medley and failed to reach the final.

Benjamin Anthony Aguon Schulte is a Guamanian swimmer. Schulte entered the international stage at 15 years old when he won a silver medal at the 2011 Pacific Games held in New Caledonia. At the 2014 Micronesian Games, Schulte was awarded medals in all 11 of his events, nine of them gold, earning him the nickname 'Micro Phelps'. Florian Wellbrock German swimmer

Florian Wellbrock is a German swimmer. He is the world record holder in the short course 1500 metre freestyle. She also holds Australian records in the short course 800-metre and 1500-metre freestyle. At the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships she won a total of six medals, three of which were gold medals and three of which were silver medals.
