Olympiacós Sýndesmos Filáthlon Peiraiós is a major multi-sport club based in Piraeus, Greece. Olympiacos is parent to a number of different competitive departments which participate in football, basketball, volleyball, water polo, handball, athletics, swimming, table tennis and boxing amongst many others—and have won numerous European and domestic titles over the club's history.
Dimitrios "Mimis" Papaioannou was a Greek professional footballer, who played as a forward, mostly for AEK Athens and a later manager. His nickname was "The Vlach" (Greek: "ο Βλάχος"), due to his refugee origins. Throughout his entire career, Papaioannou was never shown a single red card, showing the prudence and integrity of his character. Papaioannou was considered to be the best Greek footballer of his generation and one of the best Greek footballers of all time, being awarded the best Greek footballer of the 20th Century by IFFHS. In 2021, the IFFHS also chose him in Greece's best XI of all time.

The department was founded in 1926 and their home ground is the Melina Merkouri Indoor Hall in Agios Ioannis Rentis, Piraeus.
Olympiacos Men's Waterpolo, commonly referred to as Olympiacos, Olympiacos Piraeus or with its full name as Olympiacos CFP, is the men's water polo department of the major Greek multi-sport club, Olympiacos CFP, based in Piraeus, Greece. The department was founded in 1925, one of the founding members of the Hellenic Swimming Federation, and their home ground is the Papastrateio Pool in Piraeus.
Olympiacos department was established in 1956 and has both a men's and a women's department. Olympiacos is one of the most successful clubs in Greek table tennis history, with its women's department being the most successful, having won a record 28 Greek Leagues and a record 11 Greek Cups.
Ioannis Fountoulis is a Greek water polo player. He is currently the captain of Greece men's national water polo team, with whom he won a bronze medal at the 2015 World Championships, a bronze medal at the 2016 World League, 2020 World League and competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. He played for the Greek powerhouse Olympiacos since 2009, and in 2018 he won the 2017–18 LEN Champions League with the Greek giants, scoring 4 goals in the final game against Pro Recco in Genoa. Is a very big scorer and leader is considered one of the top players in the world and it is typical how in 2016 and 2018 he was voted as the second top player in the world. Currently playing for the Greek club Olympiacos.
Olympiacos Women's Water Polo Club is the women's water polo department of the major Greek multi-sport club Olympiacos, based in Piraeus. The department was founded in 1988 and they play their games at the 1000-seated Papastrateio "Petros Kapagerof" Pool in Piraeus.
The Greek women's Volleyball Cup began in the 1998–99 season and is organized by Hellenic Volleyball Federation (ΕΟΠΕ). So far, seven clubs have won the cup. Olympiacos is the most successful club in the competition with 9 titles. AEK are the current cup holders.
AEK Women's Volleyball Club is the women's volleyball section of the major Greek multi-sport club of AEK. It was founded in 1995 and has won one Greek Championship (2011–12), one Greek Cup (2022–23), and one Greek Super Cup (2011–12).
The Greek Amputee Football Association is the Greek governing body of amputee football and represents Greece at international events and competitions. In February 2016, Amputee Football Greece became the 14th European national team with the support of EAFF.
Stylianos "Stelios" Argyropoulos-Kanakakis is a Greek water polo player, who is a member of Greece men's national water polo team. He is part of Greece national team that competes at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest. He started his career in Ethnikos, a club with great tradition in water polo. He was named best rookie of the Greek championship in 2015 and 2016. He then played for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos, with whom he won the 2017–18 LEN Champions League, 2 Greek Championships and 1 Greek Cup. He is currently a player of VK Jug.
The Greek Women’s Water Polo Cup is the second domestic competition of the Greek women's water polo and it began with 2017-18 season. The first final four of the competition was held in Karpenisi in March of 2018 and the first winner was Olympiacos winning Vouliagmeni in the final.
The 2020–21 season was the 96th season in existence of Olympiacos and the club's 62nd consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The season was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and all Olympiacos' games were played behind closed doors. Olympiacos participated in the Greek Super League winning their 46th title, finishing 26 points ahead of PAOK who came second. Domestically the team participated in the Greek Football Cup as well. They reached the final where they lost to PAOK. Olympiacos qualified also for the UEFA Champions League group stage for a second consecutive season but failed to qualify to the knock-out phase. Having finished third in their group, they were then transferred to UEFA Europa League knockout phase. The season covers the period from 20 August 2020 to 22 May 2021.
The Greek Basketball Super Cup or Hellenic Basketball Super Cup, is the top-tier level professional basketball national super cup competition in Greece. The first edition of the tournament, was organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.), in 1986. It was contested by the Greek Basket League champions and the Greek Basketball Cup winners. However, the Greek Basketball Super Cup was revived in 2020, by the Hellenic Basketball Association (HEBA), under a final four tournament format.

Georgios Moschos was a Greek professional basketball player. He played for Panellinios Athens, Iraklis Salonica, and AEK Athens basketball clubs and died from lymphoma at the age of twenty-nine. He was nicknamed Piccolino.
The ETTU Europe Trophy is the third most important continental tournament for clubs in European table tennis, after the European Champions League and the ETTU Cup. The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) has organized this cup since the 2021–22 season for men and women teams. The ETTU Europe Trophy Grand Final will be host in Piraeus for the 2022–2023 season.
