Olympiacos sailing department was established in 1949 and since then has won Olympic distinctions (three gold, one silver and two bronze medals), two gold medals in World Championships as well as one gold, two silver and one bronze medal in European Championships. The sailing department successfully organized the Finn Gold Cup in Athens in 1998 [1] and in 2002 [2] at the club's marine training facilities in Alexandras Square, Piraeus. Olympiacos' leading athlete in the FINN Category is World Champion and five-time Olympian, Aimilios Papathanasiou.

Olympiacosswimming club is the swimming department of the major Greek multi-sport club, Olympiacos CFP, based in Piraeus, Greece. The department was founded in 1925, being one of the founding members of the Hellenic Swimming Federation.

This is a list of athletes and teams who have won honours while representing Cork GAA in Gaelic games. Cork achieved the Double in senior hurling and gaelic football in 1890 and 1990. Tipperary in 1895 and 1900 is the only other county to achieve this unique feat. The late Teddy McCarthy is the only person to hold the unique record of winning two all Ireland senior medals in hurling and gaelic football in the one year. The Piraeus Football Clubs Association (Greek: Ένωση Ποδοσφαιρικών Σωματείων Πειραιώς, abbreviated E.P.S.P. was founded in 1925 after the termination of E.P.S. Athens-Piraeus. It was the second largest football association in Greece and was officially recognized by FIFA alongside E.P.S. Athens, as the Hellenic Football Federation had not been established at the time.
