Domingo Omar Aguilar Cardenas (born December 1, 1959) is a retired male long-distance runner from Chile, who represented his native country twice at the Summer Olympics: 1984 and 1988.
He was torch lighter for the 1986 South American Games at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile. [1]
In addition to his successes on the track, he won the men's race at the first two editions of the South American Cross Country Championships. [2]

Serjio Robert "Sergio" Livingstone Pohlhammer was a Chilean goalkeeper, who later became a well-regarded journalist. He was nicknamed "El Sapo" for his typical posture in the goal. From 1938 to 1959 he played primarily for CD Universidad Católica in Santiago. With Chile he took part in seven Copa América and one FIFA World Cup.
The III South American Games were a multi-sport event held in 1986 in Santiago, Chile, with some events in Concepción and Viña del Mar. The Games were organized by the South American Sports Organization (ODESUR) and were initially awarded to Brazil at its 1982 congress held in Rosario. However, four months later, Brazil declined the offer. Therefore, Guayaquil and Quito in Ecuador were chosen, but due to lack of government support the games were finally moved to Santiago, Chile.

The South American Cross Country Championships is an annual continental cross country running competition for athletes from South America or, more specifically, member countries of CONSUDATLE. It was first held in 1986, making it the oldest of the continental cross country championships. The event is typically held in late February or early March.
Alessandra Aguilar Morán is a Spanish long-distance runner who specialises in marathon running. She represented her country in the event at the 2008 Summer Olympics and at the World Championships in Athletics the following year and then at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the World Championships following that.

Carlos Martín Díaz del Río is a Chilean middle and long-distance runner. He holds the Chilean national record for the indoor and outdoor 1500 metres, the indoor 3000 metres, the 10,000 metres, the half marathon and the marathon. He was the gold medallist in the event at the South American Championships in Athletics in 2015.
