Al Busaidy was born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. [7] From an early age, he was interested in writing poetry. [8]
Al Busaidy obtained a bachelor's degree from the American University in Dubai and a master's degree in international affairs and intelligence from Florida State University as a Fulbright scholar. [9]
During his career, he has held positions at Emirates NBD, the British Embassy - UAE, Dubai Chamber, Department of Municipalities and Transport - Abu Dhabi, the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, and worked as a producer and radio host for Pulse 95 Radio. [10] [7] [11]
Al Busaidy is a non-resident fellow at Trends Research & Advisory, a think tank in the UAE. Al Busaidy was previously a Global Shaper, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, and has participated in the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). [2] [7]

Starting in 2018, Al Busaidy hosted The Morning Majlis with Sally Mousa and Sara Al Madani. [15] Due to the success of the show, Al Busaidy later started his own radio show, Future Talk, in which he discusses the concept of futurism across a variety of global sectors. [16]

Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum was an Emirati royal, politician and a founder of the United Arab Emirates. Al Maktoum was the first vice president and second prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, and was the ruler of Dubai. He ruled Dubai for 32 years from 1958 until his death in 1990. He was the vice president from the founding of the UAE until his death. Al Maktoum was the first vice president to serve as prime minister concurrently, when he became prime minister on 30 April 1979. After him the office of prime minister was de facto tied to the office of vice president.
