The Sugarcubes were an Icelandic alternative rock band from Reykjavík formed in 1986 and disbanded in 1992. For most of their career, the band consisted of Björk Guðmundsdóttir, Einar Örn Benediktsson, Þór Eldon (guitar), Bragi Ólafsson (bass), Margrét "Magga" Örnólfsdóttir (keyboards) and Sigtryggur Baldursson (drums). Previous members included Friðrik Erlingsson (guitar) and Einar Melax (keyboards).
Modest Mouse is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Issaquah, Washington, and currently based in Portland, Oregon. The founding members were lead singer/guitarist Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green and bassist Eric Judy. Strongly influenced by Pavement, Pixies, XTC, and Talking Heads, they rehearsed, rearranged, and recorded demos for almost two years before finally signing with small-town indie label K Records and releasing numerous singles. They achieved critical acclaim for their 1997 album The Lonesome Crowded West and found mainstream success with the release of Good News for People Who Love Bad News (2004), and its singles "Float On" and "Ocean Breathes Salty".

In France it was released twice; at its first release, it peaked at number 15, but at the second release the song peaked at number 17.

Beginning her music career as a child singer, Yohanna received international recognition after representing Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Is It True?", placing as the runner-up. This tied for the best result Iceland had ever achieved in the contest. Following the success at Eurovision, she released the studio album Butterflies and Elvis (2009).
Fidlar, stylized as FIDLAR, is an American punk and garage rock band from Los Angeles. The band's name is an acronym for Fuck It Dawg, Life's aRisk, a skate mantra gleaned from singer Zac Carper's former roommates. Originally, FIDLAR went under the name 'Fuck The Clock', as referenced in their song "Cheap Beer". To date, the band have released three studio albums: FIDLAR (2013), Too (2015) and Almost Free (2019). The band are mostly known for short, fast songs that deal with partying and narcotics. In 2013, Pitchfork wrote that the band "don't make music you'll grow old with, and they won't get an "A" for originality, but that's not really the point".

She has performed and recorded with numerous other musicians and has composed music for film and television. Her father is Icelandic composer and musician Áki Ásgeirsson.
maybe tomorrow... is the fifth studio album by the musical project Low Roar, released July 30th, 2021 through Tonequake Records. The songs "Everything To Lose" and "Hummingbird" were released as singles. One reviewer stated the band "fashioned their own cyclical universe" through the album's storytelling and described the music as "so pure, moving, and intricate that you can't afford to continue ignoring it."
