Between the Buried and Me, often abbreviated as BTBAM, is an American progressive metalcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina. Formed in 2000, the band consists of Tommy Giles Rogers Jr., Paul Waggoner, Dan Briggs, Dustie Waring (guitar) and Blake Richardson (drums).

After the Burial is an American progressive metal band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are currently signed to Sumerian Records and have released five of their six full-length albums through the label. Since their inception in 2004, the band has gone through two vocalist changes, two drummer changes, the departure and death of founding rhythm guitarist Justin Lowe, and the departure of bassist Lerichard Foral. Lead guitarist Trent Hafdahl remains the sole remaining founding member. They are considered key contributors to the development of subgenres such as djent and progressive metalcore.
Caleb Joshua Shomo is an American singer, musician, songwriter, and producer. He is most well known as the lead-vocalist of Beartooth, though he records all studio instrumentals for the band. He is also the former lead vocalist, keyboardist, and early backing vocalist of Attack Attack!, and the owner of Studio Records in Columbus, Ohio. Shomo joined Attack Attack! as keyboardist at 15 years old while maintaining a passion for electronic music and eventually grew into record production by 18.
Djent is a subgenre of progressive metal, termed for an onomatopoeia of the guitar sound that characterizes it. While sources such as The Guardian and Guitar World describe djent as a genre, some notable musicians including Randy Blythe and Stephen Carpenter (Deftones) say it is not.
Tesseract are a British progressive metal band from Milton Keynes. The band, formed in 2003, consists of Daniel Tompkins, Alec "Acle" Kahney, James Monteith, Amos Williams and Jay Postones. The band is currently signed to Kscope. They are credited as one of the bands to pioneer the djent movement in progressive metal. As of 2023, Tesseract have released five studio albums: One, Altered State, Polaris, Sonder and War of Being, as well as two live albums, Odyssey/Scala and Portals, and the extended plays Concealing Fate, Perspective, Errai and Regrowth.
Dark Adrenaline is the sixth studio album by Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil. The album was produced by Don Gilmore, and mixed by Marco Barusso. The album debuted at number fifteen on the Billboard 200 chart with initial sales of 20,000. It also charted in the top five on four other Billboard charts including the Rock Albums, Alternative Albums, Hard Rock Albums and the Independent Albums charts. The album was also successful throughout Europe, charting in ten countries, six of which Lacuna Coil have achieved their highest chart positions in those countries to date. This album has charted in fifteen countries.

Concealing Fate is the debut EP by British progressive metal band Tesseract, released on 11 October 2010. "This is a concept album based on life and its obstacles," said vocalist Daniel Tompkins which was featured on a bonus DVD along with their first studio album One (2011). Concealing Fate is a 27 and a half minute track split into 6 parts: "Acceptance", "Deception", "The Impossible", "Perfection", "Epiphany" and "Origin". A live studio playthrough of the EP was also included as a bonus DVD along with One, and a video for "Deception" was released in 2010.
Polaris is the third studio album by British progressive metal band Tesseract. It was released on 18 September 2015, both digitally and physically on vinyl and CD. There is also a 2-disc version with the album mixed in 5.1 surround sound.
Randy Slaugh is an American music producer and composer. He has worked with artists such as Jelly Roll, Skillet, Sleeping With Sirens, Yelawolf, Architects, The Amity Affliction, Periphery, David Archuleta, TesseracT, Devin Townsend, and Four Year Strong, and is a member of Kscope's cross-continental music group White Moth Black Butterfly. In recent years, he has worked on music for television series on Netflix, CBS, NBC, ABC, Hulu, Discovery, ESPN, VH1, and MTV, for video games such as Free Fire, and for ad campaigns for Bombas, NBA, Levi's, and KMC Wheels. Slaugh is part of the Producers & Engineers Wing Committee for The Recording Academy, and a member of the Sundance Institute, Music Producers Guild, Society of Composers & Lyricists and the Heavy Music Awards.
Sonder is the fourth studio album by British progressive metal band Tesseract. It was released on 20 April 2018 through Kscope, following Polaris (2015).
White Moth Black Butterfly is a British/Indian/American cross-continental progressive pop project with members from Nottinghamshire, UK, New Delhi, India, and Salt Lake City, Utah, US. The group consists of TesseracT lead singer Daniel Tompkins, Skyharbor guitarist Keshav Dhar, as well as Randy Slaugh (keyboards/orchestrations), Jordan Bethany (vocals), and Mac Christensen.
Voices from the Fuselage are an English progressive metal band from Northampton, currently signed to White Star Records. The band formed in 2010, when they attended Northampton College together, studying Music Practice. They have released two albums; Odyssey: The Destroyer of Worlds (2015) and their latest, Odyssey: The Founder of Dreams, was released in 2018, as well as an EP entitled Hope in 2011. They were signed by John Mitchell of Arena and John Wetton's band.
War of Being is the fifth studio album by British progressive metal band Tesseract. The album was released on 15 September 2023 through Kscope. It was self-produced by the band and Peter Miles.
Earthside is an American progressive metal band from New Haven, Connecticut, consisting of guitarist Jamie van Dyck, bassist Ryan Griffin, keyboardist Frank Sacramone and drummer Ben Shanbrom. The band doesn't have a full-time vocalist; instead they have guests in their albums and perform live with prerecorded vocal tracks and image projections of the singers.
