One Life One Soul, additionally subtitled Best of Ballads, is the first compilation album released by the hard rock band Gotthard. As the title indicates, the album consists only of ballads from Gotthard's studio albums from the albums Gotthard to Homerun , along with new songs and covers.
Made in Heaven is the fifteenth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 6 November 1995 by Parlophone Records in the United Kingdom and by Hollywood Records in the United States. It was the band's first and only release solely under the name "Queen" after the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury in 1991. Following Mercury's death, guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor, and bass guitarist John Deacon worked with vocal and piano parts that Mercury recorded before his death, adding new instrumentation to the recordings. Both stages of recording, before and after Mercury's death, were completed at the band's studio in Montreux, Switzerland. The album debuted at number 1 in the UK, where it went quadruple platinum selling 1.2 million copies. 500,000 copies were shipped in the United States.
"Matte Kudasai" is a ballad by the progressive rock band King Crimson. Featuring vocals by Adrian Belew, it was released as the first single from the album Discipline (1981). In the UK, the single just missed the chart. The title means "Wait, Please" in Japanese.
Skittish is a 2000 album by Mike Doughty, and Doughty's first solo album. The album was recorded in one day, July 5, 1996, with indie rock producer Kramer, and mixed on July 6. The album was recorded while Doughty was still the frontman for the indie rock band Soul Coughing, several days before the release of the Soul Coughing album Irresistible Bliss. Some of the songs on the album had been intended as Soul Coughing songs but were rejected by the other band members. The CD was first released with a limited run of 200, which was signed by him and contained a written “Fake Word” on the track list. This limited CD was an online purchase directly from him.

The album was one of the first issued by Volt Records, a sub-label of Stax Records, and Redding's first on the new label. Like Redding's debut Pain in My Heart (1964), Soul Ballads features both soul classics and originals written by Redding and other Stax Records recording artists. The recording sessions took place at the Stax studios in Memphis. The album features a stereo mix made by engineer Tom Dowd, replacing the early mono mix.

Heaven is the debut studio album by Filipina singer Nina, released in the Philippines on August 20, 2002 by Warner Music Philippines. The album is heavily influenced by jazzy lounge, pop-R&B and composed of songs that resemble the sound of international records at the time. Under the direction of Warner managing head Ricky R. Ilacad, foreign songwriters and arrangers from the United States and South Korea, including Shelly Peiken and Guy Roche, were hired for the production of the album. Ilacad was very impressed with Nina's submitted demo version of Steve Perry's "Foolish Heart" which they decided to re-record for the album.

Cobra was a Swiss-American hard rock band from Memphis, Tennessee, United States, active in the early 1980s. First forming in 1982, the band released an album in 1983 that led to tours supporting acts like Quiet Riot and Nazareth. They are perhaps best-known for including several musicians who later joined more prominent bands, including future Survivor singer Jimi Jamison and Krokus - and later Asia - guitarist Mandy Meyer. Cobra went their separate ways in 1984.

Originally released in 1983 by Epic Records, the record was produced by Tom Allom and remastered in 2008 by Rock Candy. The album in the British music magazine Kerrang! took first place in the import charts.
