District 47 of the Oregon House of Representatives is one of 60 House legislative districts in the state of Oregon. As of 2021, the district is located entirely within Multnomah County and includes much of East Portland. It was formerly represented by Democrat Diego Hernandez of Portland, who resigned in February 2021 amid an ethics scandal. It is now represented by Andrea Valderrama. [1] [2]

Andrea Valderrama is a Peruvian–American politician who is currently the Oregon state representative in Oregon's 47th district. She was appointed to the seat after incumbent Democrat Diego Hernandez resigned. Prior to her time in the Oregon House of Representatives, she was the chair of the David Douglas School Board and a former staffer to Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler. On January 16, 2022, Valderrama was chosen as the Deputy Majority Whip in the House.
