The Oregon State Beavers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Oregon State University and competes in the Pac-12 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The team was founded in 1988 and has competed in 26 college soccer seasons since that time. [1] The Beavers qualified for the NCAA tournament on eight occasions, making their deepest runs in the tournament in 2021 & 2023 where they reached the quarterfinals. [2] The team has produced one Hermann Trophy winner, five NSCAA All-Americans and has had five players play for their respective national teams at the senior level. The team's all-time match record is 254–275–76 as of the end of the 2019 season. [2]
The current coach of the Beavers is Greg Dalby, who took the position in January 2023 after serving as an assistant coach at Penn State University. [3] Dalby replaced Terry Boss, who was hired as the men's soccer head coach in 2017, after previously serving as the lead assistant coach for the 2013 season. [4] Boss has coached the Beavers to one conference championship and three NCAA tournament appearances.

The United Soccer Coaches is an organization of American soccer coaches founded in 1941. It is the largest soccer coaches organization in the world, with more than 30,000 members. It offers training courses for both beginning and experienced coaches and a wide range of award programs. Rare among sports organizations, it serves its sport for both men/boys and women/girls. Geoff VanDuesen is the current Chief Executive Officer. The NSCAA was rebranded as United Soccer Coaches on August 2, 2017.

Jerry Yeagley is a former soccer player and coach. He was the coach of the Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team from 1973 to 2003. His teams won six NCAA Championships and a Division I record 544 games. He is considered the most successful collegiate men's soccer coach in the history of the sport. His overall career record was 544-101-45 (.828). He never had a losing season as a head coach. Yeagley was also an NCAA Champion in soccer as a player, winning the national championship with West Chester in 1961.
The Oregon State Beavers are the athletic teams that represent Oregon State University, located in Corvallis, Oregon. Dov Markus is an Israeli-American former soccer player. At Long Island University he was the first recipient of the Hermann Trophy, as the outstanding collegiate soccer player of the year, and was a two-time All American. In 1965 as a sophomore, Markus scored 35 goals in 14 games for 70 points, at the time both the most-ever goals and the most-ever points in an NCAA season. Over his three-year career, Markus scored 79 goals, setting a new NCAA career record, in 49 games. Markus played a season with the New York Generals of the North American Soccer League, and played in the 1969 Maccabiah Games in Israel for the United States.
Leslie Lyle Gutches is an American former wrestler and coach. His accomplishments include becoming a World Champion in freestyle wrestling at the 1997 World Wrestling Championships, the Dan Hodge Trophy as the nation's best college wrestler in 1996, becoming the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) champion in the 177 lb. weight division in both 1995 and 1996, earning All-American status in 1994, 1995 & 1996, becoming a member of the 1996 United States Olympics freestyle wrestling team and winning numerous other tournaments and honors.
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of the University of Tulsa. The team is a member of the American Athletic Conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. In the last two decades, Tulsa has been regularly ranked in the Top 25 NSCAA Collegiate men's soccer poll.
Taras "Terry" Liskevych ; born October 14, 1948, in Munich, Germany) served as the United States women's national volleyball team head coach from 1985 to 1996. During his tenure Liskevych posted over 300 international victories.
The 2011 Oregon State Beavers baseball team represented Oregon State University in the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball season. The team participated in the Pacific-10 Conference. They were coached by Pat Casey and assistant coaches Marty Lees, Pat Bailey, and Nate Yeskie. They played their home games in Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. The Beavers finished the season with a 41–19 overall record, and came in third in the Pacific-10 Conference Championship with 17 wins and 10 losses.
The West Virginia Mountaineers men's soccer team is the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I soccer team of West Virginia University (WVU). Beginning with the 2012 season, the team was an affiliate member of the Mid-American Conference because WVU is the only school in its primary conference, the Big 12 Conference, that has a varsity men's soccer team. For the 2022 season, West Virginia joined in-state rival Marshall in the Sun Belt Conference, and the Mountain State Derby will become an annual conference game. WVU had been scheduled to leave the MAC for Conference USA but this plan was changed when Marshall changed conferences from CUSA to the SBC.

The Creighton Bluejays men's soccer team represents Creighton University in NCAA men's Division I soccer competitions. They compete in the Big East Conference and have risen to prominence in collegiate men's soccer in the last few decades having gone to the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament in 22 of the previous 23 seasons, going back to 1992, with five appearances in the College Cup semifinals and one appearance in the National Championship Match. In conference play, the Bluejays have won 13 conference regular season championships and 13 conference tournament championships; the most recent being the 2014 Big East Conference Regular Season Championship. Creighton is the only soccer program in the nation to have at least one athlete taken in every Major League Soccer (MLS) draft from 1996 to 2014. They are currently coached by Johnny Torres.

The defending champions were the Indiana Hoosiers who defeated the Georgetown Hoyas in the 2012 College Cup. The season concluded with Notre Dame defeating Maryland 2–1 to win its first NCAA soccer title.

The 2016 NCAA Division I men's soccer season was the 58th season of NCAA championship men's college soccer. The regular season began on August 26 and continued into the first weekend of November 2016. The season culminated with the 2016 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship in December 2016. There were 206 teams in men's Division I competition. The defending champions were Stanford who defeated Clemson 4–0 to win its first NCAA soccer title. The season concluded with Stanford defending its title by defeating Wake Forest 5–4 in a penalty kick shootout following a 0–0 double-overtime draw.

Savannah Brooke Jordan is an American retired soccer forward who last played for the Houston Dash in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She also played for Glasgow City in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL) and Portland Thorns FC in the NWSL. Jordan played collegiate soccer for the Florida Gators women's soccer team and was the first player in the history of the Southeastern Conference to be named SEC Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman. Jordan has a background in martial arts and is a three-time U.S. Junior Olympic gold medalist in sparring.
