Orson Odell Mobley (born March 4, 1963) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end for five seasons with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected in the sixth round of the 1986 NFL draft. Mobley played in three Super Bowls (XXI, XXII, XXIV), and started in two of them. [2] He ran into problems with the league late in his career and was suspended for substance abuse violations.[ citation needed ]
Mobley signed with Florida State University out of high school, then transferred from Florida State where he played football and baseball to Salem where he played both tight end and punter for Terry Bowden and starred along with future Florida State Head Coach Jimbo Fisher. Mobley won All-West Virginia Conference honors at Salem. [3]
Mobley was picked 151st overall pick in the sixth round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. [4] He caught a career high 22 passes and averaged 15.1 yards per reception as a rookie. Mobley's blocking paved the way for Bobby Humphrey to run for consecutive 1,000 yard seasons.
Mobley was named Bronco's Player of the Game after having 6 receptions for 55 yards vs. the Browns on November 13, 1988. He played in three Super Bowls. [5]

On the show Night After Night with Allan Havey , Orson Mobley was portrayed as the owner of a dodgy fictional New Jersey hotel, the Mobley Hotel. The dilapidated hotel was where guests of the show were put up. [6]

Emery Matthew Moorehead is an American former professional football player who was a tight end and wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants, Denver Broncos, and the Chicago Bears. He won a Super Bowl ring as the starting tight end and a member of the 1985 Chicago Bears. Moorehead played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes football, where he played running back his first two seasons before converting to wide receiver as a junior. He captained the 1976 Big Eight Conference champion Buffalos and finished his college career with 231 rushing yards, 40 receptions for 751 yards, and six touchdowns. Moorehead was drafted in the sixth round of the 1977 NFL draft.

Steven Edward Sewell, is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners. Sewell was selected by the Broncos in the first round of the 1985 NFL Draft. He played his entire NFL career for the Broncos from 1985 to 1991, making Super Bowl appearances in Super Bowl XXI, XXII and XXIV. Sewell finished his seven seasons with 917 rushing yards, 187 receptions for 2,354 yards, and 26 total touchdowns. Sewell became the head football coach at Overland High School in Aurora, Colorado.
