Osho Monsoon music and meditation festival, popularly known as Osho Monsoon festival, is an international festival of music and meditation held in Pune, India. It is organised by Osho International Meditation Resort, a facility for followers of Osho (a spiritual leader more widely known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh). It is a 5-day annual event starting from 11 August till 15 August. [1] [2] [3] [4]

The festival hosts variety of Osho Meditations and International food festival throughout the day. [5] During the night the Meditation Resort is filled with musical events. [5] A total of approximately 71 different events are organised during the festival with participation of 2,500 participants across 152 cities and 17 states of India. [2]

The Rajneesh movement are people inspired by the Indian mystic Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (1931–1990), also known as Osho, particularly initiated disciples who are referred to as "neo-sannyasins". They used to be known as Rajneeshees or "Orange People" because of the orange and later red, maroon and pink clothes they used from 1970 until 1985. Members of the movement are sometimes called Oshoites in the Indian press.

<i>Carbon</i> (2018 film) 2017 film directed by Venu

Carbon is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language adventure thriller film written and directed by Venu, starring Fahadh Faasil and Mamta Mohandas. The film follows Sebastian and Sameera on their expedition to find a lost treasure deep inside a forest. K. U. Mohanan was the cinematographer, while Vishal Bhardwaj and Bijibal composed the songs and the score, respectively. Principal photography took place between August and October 2017 in several hilly terrain locations in North Kerala.

Surendra Nath Jena

Surendra Nath Jena(Odia: ଗୁରୁ ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନାଥ ଜେନା; 10 October 1924 – 8 October 2007) created an entirely new Odissi dance style with an oeuvre of many compositions. This dance style incorporates the various aspects of Indian culture, such as temple sculpture, ancient dance, Sanskrit and vernacular literature, yoga, traditional painting, manuscripts, and philosophy. The entire music and dance choreography of these compositions were by Jena himself.
